Xbox 360 + Halo 3 > Wii in Sept. unit sales

The motion-sensing Wii couldn’t muster the strength to fend off Halo mania last month in total hardware sales. Here’s how the bloody bout went down…
Xbox 360 sold 527k units last month, followed by 501k Wii units, 496k DS units, 285k PSPs, 215k PS2s, and 119k PlayStation 3s above 75k Game Boy Advance units according to the NPD.
Should be interesting to see what happens this holiday… like watching a chess match of sorts.
