Wiimbledon photos and report

Albo from Geekanerd contacted Infendo with a report and some photos of the first ever Wii Sports Tennis tournament, Wiimbledon, in Brooklyn this weekend. The event was well covered by ABC, MTV, Destructoid, and other media sites. Head on over to Geekanerd to see more pictures and get the full report on who won. They’re supposed to have some videos of the event online soon. He even teased us with news of the freshly announced WiiGA Tour.

That’s awesome. And I’m pretty sure that’s my buddy at the beginning of the video, flailing his arms around like a mad man. I think he got the John McEnroe award for most dangerous player. Damn, I wish I went.

i joined their email list and they never once wrote me back. only at the last minute did i learn about the sign ups, and by then it was too late, terribly unorganized. F*ck them and F*ck Williamsburg

Hey dude, I’m really sorry you had a tough time registering. While I tried to respond to every e-mail personally, it’s definitely true that we were overwhelmed by all the interest.
