Sadness is a game that was being developed by Nibris for the Nintendo Wii since the system launched back in 2006. The anticipation for this game was really up there for a while since it was suppose to be the first Horror game for the Wii. Then the game went under the radar with development problems hitting the fan and splitting with a company that was co-producing the game. Finally Nibris has updated their website and it is full of good news, and even set a release date for the Fall 2009.

If that wasn’t exciting enough Nibris has also announced that they will be attending Leipzig this year and plan to show more of the game. The website also happens to have a spot of a Trailer, but nothing is there yet just one of those “Coming soon (this vacation maybe)”. In anycase I just hope that this game is on it’s way to the Wii and doesn’t just end up being one of those “Duke Nukem Forever” myth games.

Raid over the River information would be nice as well.

I am excited for this game! However I truly feel that Sadness of another kind is coming down the pipeline for all of the world to see. Unrelated to gaming I know, but completely relevent for EVERYONE…it is entirely obvious to anyone wishing to see how much damn trouble our economy is in. Sadness is most likely coming to a doorstep near you unless a miracle happens.

    This game does not exist.

If they want to prove that they are being serious with this project then they WILL HAVE TO do what they have ‘promised’; otherwise Sadness is vaporware to me.

We are all vaporware if the masses continue the “ignorance is bliss” attitude.

    It’s called Duke Nukem Forever.

WOW harsh I’ll wait for the showing then say what I feel. I wasn’t waiting on this game any way but if they can pull it off I’ll dust off my hype with no problem. They seem to be more artist and programmers than business men and this could be a good thing we will see.

Fall 2009 isn’t a release date…especially with no publisher and no actual details whatsoever about the game (footage for example).

i will skip the comments which probably bash the game to no end one way or another, and say i am still interested and have hope for the game as i like the idea and style.

i await their showing at leipzig. too bad thats another month+ away
