Poll - the best Wii year

Wii has been out for over 18 months now. Some truly incredible games have been released on the system since it debuted in November 2006. We want to know:
What has been the best year for Wii so far?
If you think it’s neither, do you think the best is yet to come?

year one was ground-breaking. i haven’t been nearly excited about the wii since then.

The great games are really starting to hit the platform in year 2, plus WiiWare is making a huge splash and, if Mario Kart is any indication, Wii online play is starting to pick up some steam.

I thin kit’s at it’s best so far this year. It probably won’t really start to hit it’s stride till this holiday season and next year.

i couldn’t vote year one since i didn’t own one yet, but i couldn’t be happier than i am right now….or could i?

Year 1. You cannot match the hype this had or the joy of experiencing Wii Sports for the first time.
I will not deny I have enjoyed the games more this year, but that first year was something else.

Year 2 is when third-party developers finally understood the Wii hardware, in my humble opinion…

I voted neither. I sure hope the best is yet to come.
Don’t get me wrong – I’ve played some great games on the Wii…Galaxy, Brawl, Sonic & the Secret Rings, Zack & Wiki…
…but I still haven’t played a game that makes me say, “OH. MY. GOD. This is so fucking awesome!” the way…games like…well, ALL of Clover’s games, really.
Although I guess Twilight Princess came pretty close. It was only marred by the fact that it felt kinda predictable and samey.

The first half of 2008 already beats 2007. Lets hope Nintendo doesn’t drop the ball at e3 and really hit a home run the second half.

By far, this year. Granted, a few overrated titles popped up (Galaxy, MKWii, and Brawl).

Now because of all the good games. Tho I don’t play my Wii rarely.

Year 2, without doubt, off the strength of Super Mario Galaxy. Add Brawl, Mario Kart, No More Heroes, and the launch of WiiWare, and it shows me that the Wii lineup is getting better and better. Year 1 had Wii Sports, which is still a major killer app for the system, but most of the other games that I had I’ve traded (Call of Duty 3, Red Steel, WarioWare, Medal of Honor 2).
