The wait for this game was driving me insane. They kept pushing it back. So I bought Endless Ocean and No More Heroes to tide me over. Turns out they are both awesome games in thier own way. I think even with my busy schedule I’ll be able to finish No More Heroes by the time SSBB comes out. I don’t mind the wait anymore, and I wouldn’t even be mad at Nintendo if the real reason SSBB was pushed back this last time was to sell Galaxy and other titles.

I have never played a smash bros game and honestly watching the video of game play makes it seem slightly retarded. All the hype however makes me want to buy it anyway.

Marth is surprising. Ness I knew about.

I watched it earlier on but had to watch it again when you said Marth. I watched it and had no idea he was there, I really didn’t see him at all lol. sweet that he’s there… Question is, will he be a japan only character like he was meant to be in melee.

SPOILER:
This game is going to have…
…many and lots of “Best (Fighting) Game”-awards at the end of this year.

I really don´t see the point to buy any game after this for thw whole year, it´s unbelievable, it´s epic, it´s Sakurai-Sensei legacy.
The only thing it breaks my heart is not the delay, but that Megaman is not in this timeless masterpiece, this game will be remembered as the pinacle of fan service and the Blue Bomber is out of that, i fully blame Capcom..

Dustin,
The game is about a frenetic pace. Lots of mayhem and laughs in multiplayer. The intent is not serious. Hell the concept is that a person has their game figurines come to life and to battle.

@Hunter,
The intent might not be serious but there are some serious players out there which kills it for me, particularly the idea of online play. I like to play strikers, but I hate playing on line because I tend to get slaughtered and the general attitude among good players is you’re either them or a noob.

Damn. That really is the hotness
Oh, and Dustin? Keep your criticism to yourself if you haven’t actually played it. Or better yet, play it and change your mind. Smash is ridiculously fun. You sound like my little brother’s first college roommate. He claimed he didn’t like Catch 22, not because he read it and didn’t enjoy it, but because a couple people he went to high school with had to read it for class and didn’t like it.

Where was Captain Falcon >_>?

@Drahken
Yes, of course, how stupid of me to express an opinion that conflicts with the popular one. I’ll be sure to fall in line next time.
I think if you read my other posts you’ll see where I’m coming from and where I’m going. I’ve never played the game, the game play looks chaotic and unorganized in game play videos with people flying off the screen and what not, yet I am still interested in it because of all the hype. In other words, I’m saying that despite how things look, I’m going to give it a try.
