Dewy’s Adventure contest adds water weight

Those of you thirsting for Dewy’s Adventure can add to your fervor with a new contest from Konami and Nestle today. Best part? It’s healthy. And it’s for the children, so really you have no choice but to enter. Just be sure to schedule your increased number of bathroom breaks accordingly.
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. and Nestle Waters North America Inc. will provide a positive “Green” and health message to children this fall with a promotional partnership surrounding the highly anticipated release of Dewy’s Adventure for the Wii home video game system and the popular Nestle Waters’ beverage option for kids, Aquapod Natural Spring Water. Through the partnership, Aquapod will administer a national contest and sweepstakes offering consumers a chance to win an exciting rain forest/eco-adventure to exotic Costa Rica along with other fabulous prizes, including copies of Dewy’s Adventure. The sweepstakes will run from September 12th through November 30th.
If you’re into this title (I’ve heard it’s hit or miss, but I’ve been wrong about a lot of things so…), then get drinking.

Do I have to purchase their bottled water drink to enter?
Oh, and to whoever wins the contest’s major prize: watch out for those botflies in Costa Rica! One of the few fly human parasites in the World live there! (Look them up in Wikipedia… and start having nightmares!)
I lived in Costa Rica already, so I’d rather win the copy of Dewy’s Adventure… (Don’t get me wrong, though: Costa Rica is one of the most beautiful countries in the World to live in. But the bugs freak me out!)

I love to see Konami supporting the Wii with original content, but I do not think that this game is for me. Maybe I’m wrong.

The release date for Dewy’s Adventure was pulled back to tomorrow, if I’m not mistaken. So everyone, be sure to head out and pick it up. And while you’re out there, pick up a copy of Elebits if you haven’t already.

I get the feeling that I’d enjoy Dewy’s Adventure more if I could control it with an analog stick than tilting, but I guess I should actually get my copy before making that decision.
