A Wii owner has compiles 10 things that would make the console even more fun. Let it be said, let it be done…
- Auto 16:9 resizing
- No friend codes
- Online games now
- Online playable VC games
- Give us original downloadable content
- Increase the scope of the Virtual Console
- Start marketing rechargeable batteries
- Include component cables with every system
- Improve Wiimote reception
- Give us more games
Hardcore Wii owners are demanding.

I’ve never had bad WiiMote reception. I think Bluetooth just likes me more.

Yeah, my Wiimote reception has never given me any problems.
The batteries draining when I don’t use it for a week makes me kind of angry though. New batteries, play for a couple hours, don’t touch for a week, turn it back on and they’re dead. What’s that about?

Yeah, they’ve nailed this list. I would replace better wii-mote reception with “no more graphically lazy ports”.

I think this pretty much covers it… And yes, my wiimote reception needs some work - the pointer in the main wii menu disapears if I am more than 2 meters from the sensor bar

1. Yes, this should have been included from day one.
2. I don’t mind them but it would be nice if future Wii titles offer an extensive lobby feature that incorporates friend codes automatically for other titles.
3. I’m willing to wait if it means a better experience
4. There is ridiculous potential for this
5. It’s already happening with the channels, and will only get better
6. I’d rather just get more games available each week
7. This will definitely happen
8. This will also hapen in the future
9. I haven’t had any complaints yet
10. Everyone knows we have a lot to look forward to

Nice list! I would add Region Free consoles to that list. It would fix all this shortage problem I guaranty it.

I mostly agree with this list, but I suspect #9, Wiimote reception, has mostly to do with the location of your “sensor” bar with respect to the game you are playing. For instance, some folks have complained about reception in Tiger Woods PGA Tour when putting, and I think this happens if you have your sensor bar sitting atop the TV. Once you have the Wiimote in the putting position, it may fall out of the sensor range if your TV set is too high and the sensor bar is on top of it. Just a thought.
Oh, and I would replace that one with cut and paste and keyboard support for entering text in ALL applications… wouldn’t it be easy to add a text cache in Wii??
