US video game sales just released by NPD for December launch numbers:
1. Nintendo Wii: 1.1 million units
2. Sony PS3: 687,300 units
3. MS Xbox 360: 607,343
You can’t say you didn’t see this coming. More detailed NPD data to follow.
UPDATE: These are launch numbers only considering the time of November launch through the end of the year. Xbox 360 outsold both Wii and PS3 by a total of 1.1 million units for the month of December.
