Why I pre-ordered Kid Icarus: Uprising

Because it’s a Nintendo 1st-party title; I played a demo at PAX East last year; it was created by the guy who did Smash Bros.; more AR cards.

I was kind of hoping for more after the jump. Tweets are fine too, though.

I have it preordered as well because it looks really, really fun.

I have no interest in the game. Though, I do want to get the 3D Classics Kid Icarus game. I was hoping it would be like Japan and Europe in that buying two previous games would let me have that one for free, but in North America, you have to pre-order KI:U.

I played the game at E3, and hated it. I’ve never been a fan of shooters, and I’ve tried them off and on since the beginning, Wolfenstein 3D in 1992.

You could’ve at least talked about the free VC code of Kid Icarus..

The free 3D Kid Icarus classic is what pushed me into finally pre-ordering it. Man, ever since Ocarina of Time 3D came out, the 3DS has been coming out with games faster than I can handle. Of the Ambassador games, I’ve only beaten Metroid and Metroid Fusion so far. Then this month there’s Resident Evil Revelations AND MGS3. Then in March there’s Kid Icarus.

I always hear “hardcore” fans complaining about how not enough good games come out. But personally, I can’t keep up with even half the games that I want to play.

Full disclosure: this was an attempt at posting to Infendo via an iPhone app that seems to have failed miserably – your comments, though, have made it an interesting experiment.

Additionally, I would say that the pre-order including the 3D Classics: Kid Icarus bonus helps, but really it was a lot of fun to play at PAX and I look forward to playing online, too!

Despite my reservations about a gameplay system that required the creation of a plastic stand to assist, I really am looking forward to this game. It looks awesome.

I’m actually very interested in the new Kid Icarus game, despite not being familiar with the series. It looks like a blast to play, very arcade-like, in a way. 🙂

This. Not only can I not keep up with all the games I want to play, there are still dozens of games from the previous generation of games I’d like to play, and many dozens more from the generations before that that I’d still like to play but haven’t had time.

So… I go back and forth between new games and old ones. But that really cuts down the number of new ones that I have time for. Luckily though, by the time that they’re old, some consensus has usually been reached about which ones are actually good enough to bother with.

  10. Right now among the best reasons for having buying a bike is just cruising about and seeing the location where the street goes. Sadly this can end acquiring a person dropped, as well as a whole lot worse stranded anywhere you dont want to be. Thankfully Navigation provides just about eradicated the problem missing along with getting guidelines, as well as fellas that’s a huge problem.
