What if… Professor Layton was a NES game?

What if Professor Layton was a series on the Famicom in Japan. Would we have ever seen it on American shores?

Either way it is pretty amazing that someone would make a down port of a DS game to the NES. Even if it was just a little teaser, the sprites and sound made me get that nostalgic feeling inside.

I’d so play that! I’m already looking forward to the supposed 100 hour RPG tacked on to the end of The Specter’s Flute (though I’m sure we’ll get a different, i.e. watered down, name [I'm disgruntled about the Pandora to Diabolical change]). Come on 2012, I can’t wait!
