Me? I’m anxious to finish My Life as a King, play a couple of rounds of Mario Kart, and belt out some Singstar songs. What about you — what are you playing this weekend?

Showing my wife how to use the Wii. She has always watched my daughter and I play various games, and now she wants to learn how to also. SWEET!!!

  6. David says...

I plan to finish LostWinds and then get Dr Mario Online Rx. I promised myself I wouldn’t buy Dr Mario until I finished the other WiiWare game I bought.

  7. LocoTank says...

    Finals. :(

  8. Joshdad says...

    Icewind Dale on my PC
    Civilization 3 on my lap
possibly downloading a VC or Wiiware game for my son on the Wii.

Dr. Mario Online all the way for me. That game is so much fun if you are a fan of Dr. Mario at all. It is not for everyone, but worth a try. At least get someone to send you the battle demo to try out.

As for me, I love it!

Oy… I’ve got too much gaming going on lately.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (GameCube) – I’ve never *really* played a Metal Gear Solid game before and wanted to see what they are like. Not bad, but not quite my cup of tea. Still, I’m hoping to get a few hours into this one.

Battalion Wars 2 (Wii) – Just picked up this game for a song, and played through the intro level. Seems interesting and well worth the $10 asking price.

Boom Blox (Wii) – Amazing game. Easy to pick up and play, but hard to put down once you start…

Contra 3 (Virtual Console) – I’m so close to beating this game, but never seem to be able to finish it off.

Soldier Blade (Virtual Console) – The Caravan (ie: high-score) mode is so addicting, and perfect when you have just 3 or 4 minutes to waste.

Astroboy (GBA) – Great little action game that I’m really digging right now. Perfect for “on the go” fun.

The wife is visiting her mother, so hopefully I’ll be able to finish the Emissary before she comes back.

  12. Pnut says...

Continuing my pin collecting and mastering in The World Ends With You

  13. Jonkind says...

I have a very similar line up to ejamer….

Dr. Mario online – I’m hooked to this, like I knew I would be.
Metal Gear Solid (The original PS1 game, I bought the trilogy)
MarioKart – I’ve got one more 150cc gold cup to get to get to the mirror mode
Batallion Wars 2 – I also got this for $10, will probably give it a spin

  14. Lyskan says...

TF2, CoD1 with some friends, Mario Kart DS, maybe some Smash.

  15. Scott Clements says...

just got Rondo of Swords yesterday and i’m enjoying it so far (although i’m regretting missing out on the recruitable archer in mission 5), so if i get any spare time over the weekend i’ll want to play that as much as possible. i’ve got to go to work saturday and sunday tho :(

I am going to be building an Boom Blox version of the table top classic Operation. Pixel art man with chemical blocks around the edge of a hole you need to remove another chemical block from. Touch the edge and Boom! You just blew that Humsucker’s arm off. The kicker his arm was made of negative point blocks.

  17. boomheadshot says...

    WoW…

  18. schmuck says...

I’m gonna be playing a combo of SSBM, Halo 3, Rock Band, Starcraft the board game, Lost Wind, and Ogre Battle 64.

  19. ChunkyB says...

Blake, you gotta get Dr. Mario online. I have already spent about 6 hours playing that game.

Anyways, sadly I just sent me Wii off for repairs. I had those infamous black vertical static lines all over the screen. And, by no coincidence, they appeared about 2 days after I turned on WiiConnect24 for the first time. This is the second time I’ve had to send it in for repairs (the first time was for an optical drive replacement), so I’m kind of bummed. At least I’ll get another year warranty.

So, I’m going to be playing Paper Mario for the GC (10,000 year door or something like that). I’ll also be playing plenty of Double Dash with my wife. Maybe I’ll even bust out some SSX Tricky on my PS2.

  20. Brian says...

Star Soldier R and Lost Winds have been rocking my world and will continue to do so. It’s also about time to open that Wii Fit box that’s been staring at me for almost a week.

  21. Relay says...

Metal Gear Solid (PS1) – It’s been years since I’ve played this one. The anticipation for MGS4 is such that I had to break out this classic again.

SSBB (Wii) – I haven’t had the funds to buy this game myself yet, but friend that’s in town for the summer has it. He and I played it some last night. He was handing me my ass on a platter every round, but I was improving. Maybe I can spend some more time with it this weekend.

  22. ECC says...

i dont count Wii fit because its everyday.

  23. muffinman91 says...

  24. Angel Lopez says...

Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, Animal Crossing WW, Pokemon Diamond, and possibly a Legend of Zelda game (that is if my parents don’t hog the Wii playing Dr. Mario.)

  25. videoanime says...

Mmmm, maybe Ookami plus The World Ends With You.

  26. Paul says...

Mass Effect for the pc. Hands down.

    RE4Wii
    Okami Wii
    Zak and Wiki
It’s a capcom weekend for me!

  30. samfish says...

Wii Fit and Okami for me. I’m taking my time going through Okami and LOVING it just as much as I did on the PS2. I just now am heading into Sei-an City, I think.

As for Wii Fit, I’ll finally have time to play it this weekend. I spent the last week or so moving out of my apartment and into my new house so I’ve hardly had time to play any games. I’ve managed to play Wii Fit twice since it came out!

I also got Golden Sun and have been playing that during bathroom breaks and when I’m in bed, so I imagine I’ll get a little of that in, too. It’s pretty good. I’m not a huge fan of RPGs, but I find it enjoyable enough.

  31. deepthought says...

    gta4
doom (the original on virgin airlines!)
    guitar
    beer
    beach

last three about at the same time

  32. Jim says...

Going on the great Grand Theft Auto IV – FIB Buffalo hunt (Xbox 360).

If you have to ask, I also own the PS3 version and I like the Xbox 360 version better – has a smoother framerate a little more “cel-shaded” look.

  33. daverage says...

Geometry Wars! Just opened the final galaxy, yes!

  34. redfang says...

Wii fit (if I can, just had medical procedure done), advance wars, maybe couple other things

  35. T smitty says...
