Three new titles hit the Virtual Console today:
Super C - NES
The alien Red Falcon is back, and planning on taking over the planet Earth. Now it’s up to Scorpion and Mad Dog to battle through five levels and save the planet.
Breath of Fire II - SNES
One of the most popular RPG’s of all time continues with the next epic quest in the Breath of Fire series. Re-enter the magical life of hero Ryu, a dragon morphing warrior, as he unknowingly embarks on a vast adventure in search of his missing father and little sister.
Ghouls ‘n Ghosts - Genesis
Brave Sir Arthur the Knight is back, once again searching for his girlfriend who has been kidnapped by Lucifer!
Unfortunately, we don’t get the awesome Wrecking Crew that our pals in the EU/UK got on Friday. Anyone buying anything?

It’s a really good week. Too bad MP 3 comes out though. Breath of Fire 2 and Super C will have to wait.

So I’m assuming that Breath of Fire II is coming out before the first game because the first game was published by Square, and the sequels by Capcom. What is wrong with Square! Their reluctance to publish on VC is really starting to irritate.

great week indeed, i want them all.
but i already beat BoF2 before, yet never played 1 or 3, so i want to play those more. i was always wanting to play them since i liked 2 alot, but never got the chance as a kid.
roms just arent my thing, always feel uncomfortable playing console games at the computer.
chair isnt as comfortable as a couch for such games.

Is there any differens between ghouls-n-ghosts on genesis and nes? The nes one is hard as hell, even passing the second stage i tricky and i have yet to defeat the third boss.

Capcom already released a GBA version of Breath of Fire so it it probably because they are still reprogramming the game to get rid of the Square influences in the game. Maybe we might get a better translation if the first Breath of Fire comes to VC; who knows?

Great list of top 3rd party titles which is great to see. Its also good to see that Nintendo have given these games a chance to shine and not included one of their big titles this week.
