Video game industry needs to grow up and act like a responsible adult

It’s about time the video game industry grew up and acted like a responsible adult.  I’m not talking about mature games.  It needs to be more like its older siblings, movies and music, when it comes to fulfilling the basic expectation of a weekly release day.  Record stores always have new releases on Tuesday, comic books come out on Wednesday, and movies typically come out every Friday.  We publish release dates on Infendo for games coming out “this week” rather than a specific day of the week because most games come out whenever the stores might receive them.  Not a lot of guess work involved for other types of entertainment, so why are video games different?
