Nintendo’s in an awkward transitional pre-E3 mode right now, and early 3DS adopters have only a handful of good titles to choose from until things pick up. Zelda’s coming in June, and thank goodness the eShop is scheduled to launch this month. Blake’s dealing with the lull by playing awesome GBA games on his newly acquired AGS-101. For anyone whose new 3DS represents their only handheld Nintendo console, there’s salvation in a back catalog of great DS games waiting to fill the void. (more…)

First, a disclaimer: before playing WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase, I had never played a WarioWare game before in my life. However, I have to say that my first experience with this franchise was definately a positive one.

Fairly quiet week as far as physical releases are concerned, but WiiWare, Virtual Console, and DSiWare sure are hopping.  WarioWare DIY came out yesterday, anyone get it or plan to get the WiiWare showcase title?

FINALLY, Cave Story comes out for WiiWare. Is it worth the wait and 1200 points?

The big release coming this Sunday will be the new DSi XL. Along with it, Nintendo is releasing America’s Test Kitchen and WarioWare DIY. And now Nintendo is putting out Game & Watch titles for download, kinda makes me want a DSi.

The other big DS releases this week are Shin Megami Tensei and Dawn of Heroes. The Wii gets a new MotionPlus game, Red Steel 2, which we hope will be better than the first Red Steel game. But if there’s one game coming out that I need to learn more about, it has to be Squishy Tank. How about you? Click on in for the full list.
