Ahoy, Nintendans! We’re here for your booty!

DoctorM64 says there weren’t a lot of Gameboy’s in Argentina back in the 90′s, but it seems that hasen’t stopped him from remaking one of the console’s greats on the PC.  It looks great – so great I wish we could see it as a WiiWare release.  Hint-hint, Nintendo?

[Another Metroid 2 Remake]

According to N’Gai Croal‘s Facebook feed, which is currently covering an EA investor call today, EA says, “We’re bringing core intellectual property to the Wii,” the first example being a port of Dead Space coming to Wii later this year. Excited? I only played a single level of the game in a demo, so can’t effectively comment on its critical awesomeness. Regardless, the survival horror game is on its way to Wii.

I’m a big fan of zombie mayhem, and with the Xbox 360 hovering just above my price range, I’ve been eagerly awaiting Dead Rising: Chop ‘till you Drop. Screenshots of the Wii version have been heavily criticized for having bad graphics, and not being able to simulate zombie hordes of the same size as its 360 predecessor. I’m sorry to say that despite some valiant efforts, the “Trial Version” on demo at Nintendo’s Fall Media summit lived up to the negative hype.

Nippon Ichi Software a.k.a. NIS in America is throwing all it’s weight on the Nintendo DS this coming Fall. Nippon Ichi is known mostly for the Makai Senki series and the revival of tactical RPGs. (I mean I consider them the company who revived them.) Anyway, They plan to release three titles for the DS, including their first ever attempt at making an Action RPG.
