Nintendo of America has yet to announce, or even acknowledge the existence of, Xenoblade, The Last Story, or Pandora’s Tower. This has made themightyme on the IGN Boards angry enough to write letters…on actual paper.

So here is the basic premise. In the past, fans of television shows on the brink of cancellation have banded together to get networks to bring them back. How was this accomplished? It’s as easy as writing letters and sending gifts that represent the cause. For example, fans of the series Veronica Mars sent the UPN network Mars candy-bars in droves.

Although there is no guarantee of this letter campaign achieving anything, just thinking of hundreds of beef jerky sticks arriving at the desk of Reggie Fils-Amie is hilarious.

Pandora’s Tower to me is like one of your best friends girlfriends. You may think that she looks great and has a lot of character, but your not sure when or if she will ever be available. Ok well it’s not exactly like that but you get the point.

With the late May Japanese release inching ever closer, new gameplay videos have hit the interwebs. It looks as if a chain-whip of sorts will play a major role in not only combat, but exploration as well. And yes, all of the characters look like teenage girls.

I for one am very much looking forward to Pandora’s Tower, even if my only option is to import. I will wait till after E3 to do anything so drastic, however, as I personally believe Nintendo will localize the title for Wii owners stateside. I mean, what other games can they have for the rest of 2012?

Optimistic? Will Pandora’s Tower help send Wii off with a bang?

When Pandora’s Tower was first announced back in February, details about the title were…well we didn’t have any. Now we have video!

There are still no details on exactly what type of game Pandora’s Tower will be, but my guess is that it will be of the hack and slack, Devil May Cry-ish type. My hope is that the title will be a JRPG with a real time battle system, not unlike Namco’s own Tales series.

Pandora’s Tower will be out May 26th in Japan, with no Western release announced as of yet.
