I’m afraid I haven’t been able to join the community nights of the past two weeks, and I probably won’t make it tonight, either. But I picked up on plenty of news before that, so that’s what I’m going off of right now.

First off, I must apologize to Chris of Texas for tanooki tailing you right at the end of Wii Koopa Kape for the closest win I have ever witnessed. Seriously, I don’t think it gets closer than that. It was an act of desperation, and it worked, but I don’t think I deserved the win. (more…)

Infendo’s growing community of Mario Kart 7 racers, created by Kart-Racer Extraordinaire Holly, meets tonight at 7:00 P.M. U.S. Eastern. The code is: 20-1691-6700-3942.

Last week’s meet had a great turnout! I arrived too late to join Holly’s group, but was able to enter one of the three groups playing. I raced through several cups, challenging some of our finest readers, and (as usual) I got slaughtered. (more…)

There are only a couple dozen tracks in Mario Kart 7 for 3DS, so I got to thinking about DLC downloadable tracks for the game. I think I’d be willing to pay around $5 for each new “cup” of four courses. Of course, this would create a question around the inclusion of these courses in the online aspect of the game.

Do you think this is a good idea and how much would you be willing to pay?

First of all, let me thank everyone who has participated in our official Infendo community so far. It’s not the most popular community ever, but I’ve gotten more enjoyment out of it than any other community I play in.

With that out of the way, I now have some great community news to report! As of today, 17 players have found their way into community races. We reached a record during our last community night with a whopping 2 groups playing simultaneously (it may have reached 3 once I found a group to race with). Let’s go for 5 this Saturday! (more…)

Happy New Year, everyone! From the recent online race activity, it looks like a lot of folks worldwide received Mario Kart 7 for the holidays…and the percentage of “Maka Wuhu” cheaters rose dramatically at the same time!
