No More Heroes was good, but creator Suda51 acknowledged this week it could have been better. Open world better. The original was supposed to be a little more free flowing, like Grand Theft Auto IV, for example. But it wasn’t. The next one will be, he said. Promise.
For the sequel, due out in 2010, Suda51 said to expect “big changes” in the open world department. And “no more heroes” is a bit of a misnomer, as far as the sequel is concerned. “Actually, there are still some heroes left,” he said.
If that isn’t the world’s biggest Mega Man cameo hint I don’t know what is.

Am I the only one to hope that this game won’t turn to be like like a GTA game?
Paolo: The main problem with No More Heroes was that even though we were given this city to drive around in, it wasn’t that big and there was barely anything to do between the main missions other than grind for money. I doubt the gameplay style would be changed much, just the approach to the city and interaction with it.
I really hope they help the framerate issues in the open world…
