Pit

Pit is a young angel, trapped in the underworld. The Goddess of Light, Palutena, summoned Pit to defeat the Goddess of Darkness, Medusa. To do so, he first had to collect the Three Sacred Treasures. After that adventure, Pit was also tasked with defending Angel Land from an attack by the demon, Orcos.

Games:
Kid Icarus, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters
Cameos: Tetris, F-1 Race, WarioWare series

Wielding a bow that he can transform into a sword, Pit is a formidable challenger. Pit can glide in the air and his arrows can be guided by the player. Summoning Palutena’s Army may also spell an early doom for anyone in the stage with Pit.

    We’ve gone through them all already? I must have missed a few.

    Three… more… days…

    There’s two newcomers left. Zero Suit Samus and ROB the Robot. Are you leaving one out?

    I’ve seen videos, and Pit, like Meta Knight, just seems to be a damage maker. He doesn’t really have any moves with decent knockback.

    He’s still the first character I want to play with. I miss Pit. Is he available from the get-go?

    @Doc: Yeah, I believe so.

    Wow, I assume they’re leaving ZS Samus out, which means they’re giving R.O.B. a perfect 300.

    I can’t imagine why. I can’t be the only one who thinks he looks absolutely awful.

    I still can’t believe how poorly they rated Lucario - he looks incredible. He’s probably gonna be my new main, as a matter of fact.

    At the very least, NoA got rid of Pit’s…

    “NANANANANANANANANANANANANANA” off from the Japan VO’s

    I am so pumped to play Pit, that bow/sword weapon combined with flight… RAWR!

    Stan: both Metaknight and Pit actually have pretty decent knockback. Not anything extraordinary, but then again, they’re both more combo-centered characters. So far I like Metaknight more, I like the way his aerials hit more, and he seems to have better ground game overall.

    Ben: Believe it or not, R.O.B. is actually a good character. He has average speed, which is faster than I expected it would be. His uair is good for juggling and his dair is a great meteor smash (and it spikes.) Eye lasers are so much fun, etc etc. Definitely alternating him.
