Rumor: Operation Rainfall already a success, Xenoblade NTSC localization complete

According to sources who wish to remain anonymous (don’t they all) localization of Xenoblade for the US was completed just before this year’s E3. The folks over at Operation Rainfall have stated on their blog that Xenoblade is ready for NTSC territories, while the Last Story localization is well underway.

This news would be a huge boon for Wii owners looking to milk their little white console for all it’s worth. Keep in mind however that Nintendo of America has neither confirmed or denied these claims, in fact when Infendo reached out to NoA we received the usual ‘Nintendo does not comment on rumors or speculation.’

Certainly take this information with a spoon full of salt, and don’t forget about the Operation Rainfall letter writing campaign.

How much credence do you place in these rumors? If true, how many back-flips will you throw in the name of RPG?

Just pre-ordered my Euro PAL Version of Xenoblades. I really hope for Last Story an Pandoras Tower to get a similar treatment. I really wish for Nintendo to release these games to the NTSC territories for you guy. You allready did not get Disaster: Day of Crisis, which was really cool in its own way.

I actually might import anyway…I hear the euro version has Japanese audio still on it, and of course no cleavage is cleaved (cleave and its other forms are interesting topics of discussion by the way).

…if NoA localizes it, I fear it will have the 4kids virus.

What I want is Pandora’s tower, RPG’s are not my cup of tea !! It’s time we get our version of God of war on Wii.

  7. CM30 says:

Well, I hope it’s true, even if I’m completely unaffected by the Operation Rainfall stuff due to being in a country where these games are being localised and released anyway.

  8. EdEN says:

Great news once officially confirmed. Xenoblade would be enough for me as long as Last Story and Pandora’s Tower are ported to Wii U to be launched during the first year.

I would throw 8 my self, if my body can stand it :)
