Professor Layton – Mysterious Time Machine

Many of you probably haven’t finished the first Professor Layton game yet. However, in Japan the third game is prepping for launch. Layton Kyouju to Saigo no Jikan Ryokou, which translates into something along the lines of “mysterious time machine” or “Final Time-Travel.” The game is set to be the third and final game in the series. If you want a sneak peak at some of the art and in game screens, head on inside.
As we wait for the announcement of the second game in the series for the US, I can only tease myself with these images of the third game. I won’t spoil anything else about the third game, only that it revolves around time travel and some type of machine. Anyway is it just me or does Luke look taller and older?

I finished and loved the first game. I cannot wait for the second. The screen shots for this new third game look awesome, the whole town looks like the inner workings of a clock!

I’m on the fence about buying the first game. I played a demo and enjoyed it, but I’m not sure about it yet.
How long does it take to complete the first game, do you suppose (”you” meaning anyone who has beaten it)?

@ Andrew G.
It took me about 10+ Hours to beat it, everything. I kinda rushed through it though, because I’m a puzzle fiend. I’m sure most people took about 13-15 hours though.

Well, considering that time travel’s involved, something tells me we’ll be seeing both Luke and future Luke in the game.

I bought the first one for the wife for Mother’s day. She’s been playing for several hours (and she’s NOT a gamer) and really enjoying it. Looks like I’ll have a b-day or X-mas present if the sequels come to the US.
