NPD just announced US hardware numbers for the month of May. They are as follows:
- DS – 423,000 units
- Wii – 338,000 units
- PSP – 221,000 units
- PS2 – 188,000 units
- 360 – 155,000 units
- PS3 – 82,000 units
- GBA – 81,000 units
- GCN – 10,000
DS sales solid and steady, Wii down slightly (though still selling a grundle), and the PSP benefited nicely from its recent price drop. Looks almost exactly like every other month over the last half year, so I’m not even going to say anything ’cause everything has already been said, no?

Wow! The PS3 FINALLY outsold the GBA! That’s one for the books.
*LMAO* The GBA is only 1,000 units behind the PS3!
Things will just get even better from here.
Why are people stilling buying the GC when they could get a Wii..?
Oh! I can just imagine salles from here on! With games like PBR, RE4, and Mario Strikers (to mention some) the charts are going to go… well, they’ve been through the roof for the last 7 months so, umm… well, you get the point >_>.

Wii sales are phenomenal given the selection of mediocre to crappy games out for it right now. I can’t imagine how it will sell once the triple A titles come out. But I’m convinced that a lot of people are buying the system solely for Wii Sports.
Hang on! Wii sales slightly down? Can anyone else hear the sound of the bubble bursting?
@droop4 – Which game is PBR? I can’t for the life of me think of anything that fits those initials (except for a cold, tasty beverage).
Grundle… I don’t think that means what you think it means, Blizake.
@David, I think he means Pokemon Battle Revolution.
@ Jack – Say that again, but with an Andre The Giant accent.
@ Jack
My poor diction strikes again (though the pride in me still suggests grundle *could* work in this sense).
YAY for the PS3 taking over the GBA!! Little by little, it is running over the other systems! 2 down, 5 to go!!
I BUY GAM BOY
that image makes it look like its a racial thing… I guess I look like a brown Zune or something…
