Nintendo Spotting: If Braid met Zelda

Since Braid is a homage to Super Mario Bros, I wondered what would of happened if Braid was a homage to Zelda. I then somehow managed to find this image on devient art, which seems to combine the two of those ideas perfectly. Interesting isn’t it? Also anyone for “High Definition” remake of a Link to the Past?

No, no remakes, more top down Zelda though. A Wii top down, not a handheld. I’d be all over that.

I could dig that - a graphical overhaul is just kick it takes to get me to go back to classics that i’ve overplayed.

That would be pretty cool… One of many games that would do well this generated with a little revamp, and like everyone else has said, that image is beautiful

Honestly, I’d be more excited about a water colored Mario game, a la his Milky Sky and Yoshi’s Playground. There’s just something…amazing there.
