When you have a Game Boy Color!

While I waited for the train on the platform at my local train station I started to hear some old Game Boy sounding tunes. I looked around nonchalantly until I noticed it was coming from this teenager sitting down on the ground. He apparently was replaying Pokémon Gold in anticipation of Heart Gold and Soul Silver being released on the DS.
I do have to say it is nice to crack out the classics once in a while.

Meanwhile, the poor kid is scared out of his mind with some stranger taking pix over his shoulder at the train station….

The general rule in the United States is that anyone may take photographs of whatever they want when they are in a public place or places where they have permission to take photographs.
Absent a specific legal prohibition such as a statute or ordinance, you are legally entitled to take photographs. Examples of places that are traditionally considered public are streets, sidewalks, and public parks.
I also talked to the kid a bit about why he had a Game Boy. Thanks for making me seem like a creep.

Gee…I can’t believe it, This is becoming a style. I go to school in New York and every since this whole old school 80’s style started everyone has been more open minded to the past and are trying to bring those things into the present. I have seen so many people with GBC’s recently which I find very weird…since a couple months ago the only people seen with a GBC would be a 7-5 year kids…but now I see 20year old people on the train playing the GBC o_o …. not sure why, some because it obliviously goes with there 80’s styled clothes and some I just don’t know but It seems to be very trendy with that group of people….
The kid in the picture seems to be doing it just for fun…the way it should be

But it’s been lost thanks to moving to a new house.
