This picture was e-mailed to Infendo only a few minutes ago. It came from the iPhone of Infendo reader Chris. He didn’t provide his exact location, but judging by those price tags, I think that’s a Target.
And I can’t be sure, but that looks like…Wii? In the wild?
For the past few months we’ve been getting more regular shipments of Wiis/Wii Fits/Mario Kart. When I closed tonight we still had a Wii sitting on the back counter.
“As advertised! Lowest Price!” Suuuurrrrrre….Maybe as advertised, but definitely not lower than anywhere else. Game prices just don’t work that way….generally….
My local Fry’s here in Austin Texas has had Wiis on the shelves for the past couple of weeks. When those first showed up it was the first time I’d seen Wiis available and on shelves anywhere in Austin since the original launch shipments. Looks like supply is finally catching up with demand.
Like others have said.. Wii’s are NOT hard to find anymore. I ALWAYS see at least 5 when I go out. That’s at stores like Best Buy, Walmart, Futureshop etc.
@I)ruid: Or demand is just slowing down. Kind of interested to see what the holidays are like.
I was at Target and spotted three Wiis there tonight. Still no Wii Fit or Mario Kart Wii to be found, though.

Around these parts, it’s been easy to get Wii systems. They still regularly sell out… but supplies roll in just as quickly as they roll out.

Yeah, it’s pretty common here in Newfoundland too. Though Wii Fits are still hard to come by it seems.

I wonder if they’ll start churning out differently-colored Wiis now.
