This is actually a pretty amazing week for a Summer release date.  Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box is awesome. Metroid Prime Trilogy is guaranteed awesome. Super Empire Strikes Back is virtually awesome.  And Cursed Mountain at the very least has an awesome title.  Check on in for more new games and DLC for Rock Band & Guitar Hero.

    Layton. Finally.

    Mr. Driller for WiiWare. Interesting.

  2. Jonkind says:

Wow, even though a lot of those RB2 songs are already available on 360/PS3… that’s an amazing difference between what’s available as DLC between RB2 and GH:WT on Wii. Is the Wii RB2 release schedule always that big each week?

Oh and Metroid Prime Trilogy = WIN.

  3. srkelley says:

I wonder how Cursed Mountain is, I havn’t seen any reviews for it yet.

  4. Joe says:

Just came back from the Nintendo World Store in NYC. They have both Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box and the Metroid Prime Trilogy in stock. As a bonus you get a Metroid Trilogy hat when you buy the set, though I’m sure it’s while supplies last.

  5. Jamie says:

I only just downloaded Nyx Quest, pretty good game as it goes.
I’m looking forward to MP: Trilogy coming out in the UK, I’ve finished all 3 games on their respective consoles, but this is just too good a deal to pass up!

  6. Brian says:

Metroid Prime Trilogy and Pop+ Solo look to be the best of the list to me.

  7. XCWarrior says:

Cursed Moutain and Trilogy? Great week for sure. Sure hope people buy both games.

  8. Verius says:

Prime Trilogy is definetly on my to-buy list for this weeks games

  9. Jeff S. says:

“Dueling Banjos” !!!! … now where did I put my suspenders?

  10. David says:

@Jonkind – generally, yes .. RB2 has been getting a ton of DLC versus the meager additions to GHWT.

I’m just curious what’ll happen when Beatles Rock Band comes out. Will it become just Beatles albums or will they still put other new music in the online store. I’m assuming Beatles will only allow you to download Beatles music and RB2 will continue to enjoy non-Beatles songs.
