Gyakuten! Ippatsuman
Gyakuten! Ippatsuman is the sixth in the Time Bokan series. Which is a long series involving time travel and various different Tatsunoko animes.
In the 1990s Osteandel City is the headquarters of Time Lease, a business that leases almost everything you could ask for including powerful robots. They are proud of themselves for being number one in the international ranking of billionaires, for the past ten consecutive years.
Meanwhile there is another lease company in the same city called Skull Lease where the notorious villain trio work as top executives. Their ostensible object is to disgrace the credit of Time Lease and replace them as the leading enterprise. In fact, however, they have a scheme to secure a footing for world conquest. One day a transport robot of Time Lease is assaulted by the villain trio and it is time for Ippatsuman to get on the move to fight for justice.
Ippatsuman fights with hand to hand combat moves, and throws a baseball at people… what a weird guy.

WHAAT?! They include these I’ve never heard of but leave out several that CAN fight easily without much help. The Samurai Pizza Cats would like a word with you Tatsunoko…

Wow!!!! Thanks for the post Infendo. I’m a huge Street Fighter fan and love the Capcom Vs. series games. I will be getting this game and my only wish was that I knew more about the Tatsunoko characters. So to whoever wrote this one, You are mega dragon punch awesome!!!!!!

Zachs, afraid it’s not that simple. Kyatto Ninden Teyandee was a joint effort, and the licensing for it is a mess, it was sadly never going to happen, same deal with Macross.

Amazingly, licensing issues have actually worked in /my/ favor here as well, as I hate that Genie with the fury of a thousand Foreman grills and he’s been axed for local release, hurrah!
Also thanks infendo, there were a couple here I wasn’t familiar with (polymar, yatterman & karas).

great post you filled in the gaps of the unknown characters for me. all i have to say though is i will never switch from karas if he moves like in the movie how can he be beat??? well maybe the golden zippo guy too
