Neo-Human Casshern
Neo Human Casshern is about a man named Tetsuya Azuma. He is also known as Casshern, and is a cybernetic neoroider. Tetsuya turned himself into a cyborg for the purpose of hunting down and destroying robots that have taken over his world. His late biological father, Dr. Azuma, was the inventor of the robots that were originally intended to serve humankind. However the robots turned against the humans when their cold logic concluded that the good of the Earth Ecosystem required the destruction of the human race.
Casshern and his robotic dog, whose name is Friender, join forces with a beautiful girl named Luna to battle the robots led by their brutal boss known as the Black King Boss. Casshern and his dog Friender appear in Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

Wow!!!! Thanks for the post Infendo. I’m a huge Street Fighter fan and love the Capcom Vs. series games. I will be getting this game and my only wish was that I knew more about the Tatsunoko characters. So to whoever wrote this one, You are mega dragon punch awesome!!!!!!

Zachs, afraid it’s not that simple. Kyatto Ninden Teyandee was a joint effort, and the licensing for it is a mess, it was sadly never going to happen, same deal with Macross.

Amazingly, licensing issues have actually worked in /my/ favor here as well, as I hate that Genie with the fury of a thousand Foreman grills and he’s been axed for local release, hurrah!
Also thanks infendo, there were a couple here I wasn’t familiar with (polymar, yatterman & karas).

great post you filled in the gaps of the unknown characters for me. all i have to say though is i will never switch from karas if he moves like in the movie how can he be beat??? well maybe the golden zippo guy too
