Fragile is an upcoming Japanese RPG that is set to hit store shelves on the 22nd of this month. Fragile is set in a post-apocalyptic near future world that has lost its light and is covered in a dense fog. Almost all the world’s population has vanished, and the cities have been left abandoned.

The game places the player in the shoes of Seto, a young boy, as he searches for survivors and clues to what has happened to the world. No release date for the US has been set yet, but the game looks pretty amazing so far.

Hmmm, I want to see gameplay. I’ll be excited if it A: Looks good in real time and B: is a traditional RPG.

MClain: there’s a trailer on GameTrailers with gameplay footage, combat looks simple but ok, also everything except a few cutscenes shown are realtime, the footage in the other trailer looks gorgeous.

bring this to the US if you want to push another million units Nintendo!

Hmm, doesn’t look to bad at all. I will have to take a look at this if it comes to the US.

Oh weird, so it’s an action-y RPG. Looks pretty simple, but if it’s got a good story, I’d be willing to work through it. Kind of gives me a Resident Evil Lite vibe, but more anime looking. I’m cautiously optimistic.

The game looks like fun and mysterious, but I think Fragile is going to be one of “those” Japanese games, that pride themselves on having a really slow and boring pace after the first couple chapters. As long as I don’t have to collect 50 hidden golden skulls, rocks, or letters in order to progress the story, I would love to learn more about the game.
