Just because it’s Tuesday doesn’t stop Infendo Radio from taking you on an adventure into Nintendo Land! Listen in as the guys talk about Rock Band on Wii, Brawl, and much more.

Great show, enjoyed it always on my ride to work. Blake’s audio seemed to be fading at the end though, some technical difficulties?
As for Rock Band, I will most likely not be picking this up with lack of online. I do not have the luxury of having 4 close friends who could come over and “rock” with me enough to justify the purchase. My fiance likes guitar hero, but once again it would just be the two of us, which again could be accomplished through GHIII. I truly wish this has online (DLC is not that important to me) so I could at least have the co-op exerience.
Oh well, here’s to hoping…

Sorry about my technical issues (my internet has a cold).

Man..all your FX talk brought back some memories! I completely forgot about Stunt Race FX for the SNES until your show today. Did anyone else have the game? I loved it back in the day, and think it would do well on the VC. It was actually developed by Nintendo so theres no reason we shouldn’t see it.

Kudos to Scott for bringing up the real issue with too much zealotry on video game ratings!!
I also use the ratings more as a guide than as Gospel… I agree that parents should be in charge and evaluate depending on the sensitivities of each of their children, since they are the only ones who can tell what those are. I have two daughters, and each reacts very differently not just to media, but to any experience that comes to them. Why should we trust a retail chain or a politician to know better?? Keep the ratings, but don’t enforce them, that’s OUR job!

Aimee Mann was as close to a real-life anime character back then as the world has ever seen. I bet she still is, 20 years later.

Oh, man. Good show, but…
Star Fox 64 is not only superior to the original Star Fox, but it is also one of the best games on the N64. Unless Nintendo can get the series back on track, the N64 version will forever be the Star Fox epoch.
And sans the GameCube games, I think the Star Fox series represents (non-Mario/Zelda/Metroid) Nintendo quality at its best.

Wow guy, Arctic Monkeys are horrible. Vampire Weekend are pretty good but I wouldn’t go so far as calling it the definitive band of the 2000s.

Really good show! In response to your talk about buying used games, I was wondering if any of you have tried Goozex? I’ve heard a lot of positive stuff about if, but I was wondering if anyone else has experience with the site.

goozex? i got kicked out of the zoo for that.
no really, what is it?

LOL @ Scott hating on video game characters that are foxes (i.e. Fox McCloud and Miles “Tails” Prower). Good stuff.

Mode 7, fellas…mode 7.

daverage: Stunt Race FX was great. I think it was just released too late in the SNES’s life or something. Didn’t even realize what FX stood for. Nice to know.
For anyone who cares: Pelican makes great DS screen protectors and you can find them at Best Buy. That’s where I got mine. Only about $7 and comes with a cloth to wipe down the screen. Nice.

So what song is it that they play at the end of the podcast, the Vampire Weekend song? Thought about looking the band up. They’ve only had one CD?
March 29th, 2008 at 1:16 pm
Nevermind about Vampire Weekend. The only CD they have is the one I bought.
