These Infendo Radio DJs are so crazy, they should be locked up! Zany antics ensue with discussion of Spore, Guitar Hero, and more.

Apollo Justice - Ace Attorney isn’t a spin off Phoenix Wright series. The series was originally called Gyakuten Saiban in Japanese and it’s the 4th game in the series, Capcom had to change the name since they were thinking Phoenix Wright would always be the main character.
Also not to spoil anything, that you haven’t already, but yes, Phoenix is in the game and this game is a great welcome to series from what I’ve heard. It’s also the first game to use more of the DS’s abilities, since the first 3 Phoenix Wright games were originally GBA games that were ported to the DS.
So Apollo Justice is the game to get.

Umm, I disagree that Smash Bros. is the first game to bring characters together in one game. I mean, the SNK v. Capcom games, Marvel v. Capcom, etc. Granted there are plenty of “Huh?” characters, but how many people picked up Melee and immediately knew who Ike was?
Just a thought.
Oh, and Smash Brothers is popular because 1) it’s fun 2) it can be a button masher that five year olds can play and 3) it involves violence.

I hope a lot of “pro” smash players don’t listen to this podcast because you guys will get flaaaaamed!
I think Smash is fun because it is a button masher on the surface but it goes much deeper than that too.

I agree with Scott about the new Turok. I downloaded the demo for PS3 and had very similar impressions about targeting with the guns. Very sloppy experience. I wanted to like it… Loved the first Turok on N64. Will have to try Evolution on Gamecube. I’m totally digging these Gamecube reccomendations cuz I missed many of them and they’re so cheap now.

I have to disagree with one thing…
Smash Bros. is anything BUT a button-masher. Watch any “semi-pro” Smash Bros. veteran, and you’ll see what I mean. They’re doing a lot more than mindless button-mashing.
You can button-mash at Smash Bros., sure. But you’ll lose if you’re playing a veteran. And that doesn’t make it a button-masher.

I remember South Park on the N64! In fact, I still own a working copy of it!
Not as much fun as the original Turok, but a pretty fun game regardless!

Oh and on button-mashing in Melee:
I was able to get around winning fights by button-mashing, but only on the single player encounters. Whenever I tried that with seasoned players, I got totally smoked!

OMG, smash is NOT just a button masher.
Individual gamers are button mashers.
Case in point.
I own SC2 and Melee.
I have over a friend who does not own a game system.
He is a button masher.
He racks up a winning record against me in SC2.
He can’t even touch me in Melee.
Sorry, if Smash was button masher, we should technically have been evenly matched.

First off: SSB is anything but a button-masher; just really haven’t digged deep inside the game to realize it.
Second: Scott, your not the only one that knows about the South Park FPS game. What a waste of my parent’s money back then.
Third: LONG LIVE TUROK!
