Well, I do have good news about Brawl. Not sure if it’s real or not, but it was printed in a news article that the people at brawlcentral.com found. 48 characters will be in the game. I look forward to it.

yeah, i’m kinda tired about hearing about brawl…it’s a button mashing game….how is that progress? begin the backlash, I don’t care. If a brawl delay means other games can be out sooner, WAHOO!!

Im a week late again, i know. I just wanna add (from last week’s show) Scott, maybe you should play around with the dead zone spot. Try playing MP3 on advance, and on Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (now you remember its name? =p) if you ever get it, try minimizing the dead zone near the minimum or around that and you’ll feel there’s so much difference, and so much better.
As for the wrist muscles, well… that’s kinda funny/pathetic but i understand. This are great games tho, and im sure great FPSs will come along soon, so better start writting some essays haha.
Great show, im hopping to listen to 89 tomorrow. Night everyone.

@ kgb:
Have you ever played this game? It’s just awesome… how about playing with friends (assuming you do have friends its not possible to have friends and hate this game) And while it might be a smasher, it does require some strategy, and you can get some pretty awesome combos/tricks.

yup…have played the game….with people!…and they button mash. Play a game like Soul Calibur, that’s how a fighting game should play…hey, even mortal kombat is sweet…back to SC though, I’ve had fights that look like their straight from a movie, not a bunch of cartoons jumping around a screen…btw, the ‘people’ I played smash bro’s with LOVE the game. at least you admit it’s a button masher.

I recommend watching the Anime (One Piece), which is named after “One Piece” the ultimate treasure. As for the main character he is a “rubber man” and way cooler than Mr. Fantastic
I would ignore any dubbed One Piece release (especially 4Kids, darn them!) and watch it in it’s original Japanese format (fan sub from those guys: http://www.kaizoku-fansubs.com/ ) or read the manga.
Here’s a newbie guide to One Piece: http://apforums.net/showthread.php?t=4403
Hope it gains more viewers from this comment

A shout-out for Metalstorm on the latest podcast? Awesome! That was one of the coolest NES games I ever played, and it always made me wonder why more video games didn’t try using the same “gimmick” of inverting gravity…
As usual, good show guys. Listening to some intelligent Wii banter always helps to make the Monday morning commute easier.

Kudos to Kyle for his “Mario is to video games what Bowie is to the music industry, always re-inventing himself“! Great analogy!!
To CaliHurBoy: I LOVED Viva Piñata… for its first nine hours at least. But I don’t consider it a game kin to Animal Crossing for the following reason: the game becomes too hectic after a little while! It seems like the mechanics were tweaked too much towards the ADD audience of the 360. After nine hours, I just couldn’t keep up with which animals were fighting and eating each other, keeping pests out of my garden, and making enough money to buy the swag and tools to make the garden flourish beyond its first expansion… I can’t get the “do anything or do nothing” feeling I get in Animal Crossing, where you can just sit there and relax.
I think I’m getting Nintendo’s Endless Ocean this week for that very same reason!
