w00t w00t w00t raise the roof Scott, Blake….and Kyle..is Kyle back in the house or is he still out saving furry critters and snuffing out forest fires?

Jerod I will have to agree. I also listen to the Wiire, GoNintendo, and the all the IGN podcasts. By far the most entertaining and informative podcasts with the best discussions are Infendo (at the top of the list) with IGN Wiik in review, IGN Gamescoop, and IGN Beyond fallowing. Those four tie it up. GoNintendo drags on sometimes and seems like I need to adjust my volume because you never know when someone will yell into the mike which is every 5 seconds. The Wiire is sadly very dry and NO ONE on that podcast has a sense of humor or at least its as dry as the Sahara. SCOOP and BE YOND are not Nintendo related but still fun to listen to, all jokes.

WHERE IS POOP ON A STICK? 2 cents and this day in gaming history are great but man…. I need my poop time rants! You can take away my ice cream on a stick…you can take way my meat on a stick..but don’t please don’t take away my POOP ON A STICK!

I am wondering how many more times Scott is going to say intendo…eh Grandpa?

The podcasts are great guys keep up the good work. As long as you keep making podcasts these fanboys who have overwhelming urges to buy Nintendo crap will keep listening.

    IM OUT!

I really like that logo…Is it just me or is time passing really fast? I still remember the first day I found the site… and you guys make the best nintendo podcast of the internet, even better than Matt “guy with connections” Casamassina, who rarely talks about games , he is just braggin how he knows somebody that showed him something pretty cool that is coming but he can’t talk about it, and stuff like that, who cares… talk about the games man…

Keep raising the bar guys, you are doing a great job.

Good show. BTW, you guys are still wusses for using the default controls in MP3. :) I kid.

MP3 was a great game. I beat it with 98% and I really love the controls. I to this day have not completed MP1 or MP2 mainly due to the fact that I got stuck on bosses that I couldn’t beat. I don’t think that I would have gotten stuck had I had the Wii controls.

I think Roscot took that “…trouble, we’ll be there on the double,” from the Bloodhound Gang show on PBS.

gonna be on the next show. i promise.

Nice show as always, and btw:

Scott, Blake: Guilty Gears is a fighter game from SNK I believe (ala King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, NeoGeo stuff, etc…).

And the 32 player multiplayer game you heard was for Medal of Honor Heroes 2.

Why would you get an ipod touch for $399 (16gb) when you can get a ipod video clasic (160gb) for like $40 less!

Good show guys, I only just had a chance to listen. Seems like only yesterday that everyone was celebrating the 50th show… Time really does fly.

Great show as always. I like the 30+ minute shows as they ease my hour ride to work each Monday.

As for the poll this week, I voted “not a chance” for a few reasons. I noticed how you said that the consoles (Sony, M$) would be all over this since the new controls handle so well. First off, I completely agree that the controls are better than dual analog sticks. I also have and continue to play Metroid Prime 3. But looking at the attitude Sony and M$ have towards Nintendo, I just don’t see them jumping on the bandwagon like they did with the original analog stick for the N64.

While us Wii owners take in all this “revolutionary” goodness, Sony and M$ laugh at Nintendo, call the controls gimmicky and continue to flaunt their “Power over Play” mentality.

Will it eventually sink it, of course. If demand is high enough, Sony and M$ will have to listen. But I just don’t see how they can be successful in putting motion controls (w/ a pointer device) in their next gen systems w/o everybody calling foul and saying they are just copying Nintendo.

Also, and correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t remember Sony saying that the N64 was a gimmick with it’s analog controller like they are with the Wii-mote. So it’s not necessarily the same situation as before.

    Just my opinion.

I agree with Scott: MP3 has tarnished my excitement for Halo 3! I will still play H3, but I’ll be cursing the whole way that it doesn’t have the motion controls of MP3… When will MicroSoft and Nintendo kiss and make up and give us the Wii360??

To fesworks: I’d rather have another Super Mario Sunshine than another Super Mario 64! Both great games, but SMS really expanded the Super Mario 3D platforming formula.
