I’m sorta not surprised by the big news and I hope does continue on long term.

I gotta say I’m not surprised either. I thought having 4 on the broadcast was a bit much, but it makes much more sense with Scott leaving.

You’ll be missed man. I’ll never look at that drummer from GH:III the same ever again.

Much better “technically” for this cast, no glitches. Cudos.

Blake, are you sure i’ll be able to use the 2 guitars I bought for GHIII on GHIV??? The way that statement reads is that they are remaking th guitars. I want to be sure I don’t need to buy another guitar for this game.

Say it ain’t so Scott, say it ain’t so! NOOOOOO!!!!!!

Phew, finally! Gosh dang it, it’s about time! Seriously, though content just seems to be pouring out of Scott’s site non-stop. He has got to be extremely busy, and he’s spent a long time dancing around the subject of leaving Infendo Radio. Still, I wish he didn’t have to go.

FINALLY, WE GOT RID OF SCOTT!!

No, really, you will be missed man!!

I always thought of Scott as the “outsider” gamer, the kind of guy who has less and less time to try out all the games coming out each week, but had a witty opinion on what he thought about them anyway. I totally related.

    “I AM LEAVING INFENDO RADIO.”

Wow, I might as well end my iPod infendo subscription right now. =(

    Yo Blake,

I’ve always HATED Rainbow Road as well! Although, I will say that this version was well done. Still though, can’t stand it.

  8. Paul says...

Best of luck in the future, Scott.

  9. Scott says...

hehe…some of you act like I’m dying. I have a billion projects, that include two other popular shows, a web comic to keep up, and other crazy crap. Something had to give. But trust me, you’ll find no better or more capable hands than Kyle’s, Dave’s and of course Blakes.

    @Scott,

I enjoy ELR and I liked the polish you gave Infendo Radio. I’ve wondered how you managed to do the work you do along with the shows and then still have time for a family AND gaming so that’s why I wasn’t surprised to hear the news. I had my suspicions when you were on skype for epi 102.

I’d say best of luck but…I’m still listening to ELR :).

I am a huge fan of physical media. I think iTunes is the ruination of music, at least from the perspective of a metal fan. Our genre maintains community, collecting…scouring through used CDs — some still do cassette tapes and vinyl — to find that rare thrash gem from ‘87 we’ve always been hunting for. There is something great, to me, about having a physical library of music that I can go through and listen to at my leisure.

iTunes just…makes things too impersonal, I guess.

I do use iTunes; I rip my CDs into my MacBook and use iTunes to put music on my iPhone. But at home, I enjoy having a CD to read through, consider the artwork, etc. I feel the same way about video games.

I brought this point up awhile back regarding digital ownership.

I really think it would be awesome if Nintendo allowed those who purchase VC/WiiWare games a window to do the following:

1)Return the game in a 24 hr window if you really just don’t like it for a full refund

2)If you want to return the game post the 24 hr period, then you get a fraction of it back, added directly to your account. That way regardless, Nintendo will get your Wii Points.

  13. KillerHeroes says...

Farewell Scott. You will be missed. Perhaps you could make a guest appearance every now and then to keep us updated.

    D: Scott can’t leaavvvee T^T
I hope you have a successful career where you’re headed to now! You were my favorite one (no offense guys xD )!

  15. daverage says...

    Hey Scott,

Are you going to resurrect your other video game podcast??

Either way, keep up the great work, looking forward to more animated shorts, they look great on me Iphone!!

  16. Red Mozzie says...

So… is David the new Scott? I hope so. I’d like to hear more of him.

Really interesting show. I disagree with you all about Wii Fit, though, so I’ll have to record something and send it in for the next show.

  17. quadkid says...

    great mashup at the end

  18. Hoodoo says...

    A few things…

1.) Rainbow Road sucks massive monkey balls
2.) Thank you for the LostWinds recommendation, it rocks
3.) Scott…. what else can I say besides “FERT”

Keep up the good work Infendo crew and welcome to the podcast David.

Scott, you will be missed. I started listening to Infendo because I followed you over from ELR, and I really like your podcasts. Hell, I listen to The Instance and I haven’t played WoW for about 2 years… With that said, I am really going to miss your presence on Infendo. I think you and Blake had a real good synergy that I don’t feel with the other hosts. It also seems like the audio quality has gone downhill since you stopped hosting the recording. I hope that moving forward that whoever is hosting the recording is also the person doing the most talking and hosting the show. You will be missed, Scott. I am not going to stop listening to Infendo, but I am going to be less excited when I see a new episode pop up in iTunes…

I hate that Scott’s leaving, although like others I felt it was coming. It really disappoints me, as Infendo Radio really got me into podcasts. Scott has a vibe and personality that keeps the show moving, and his sometimes-wacky comments are greatly valued.

Can someone give me a link to his other site/work? I’d like to keep up with him.

And also, Scott, thanks for commenting on my username on the podcast. I’m glad you think it’s awesome, and I’ve enjoyed calling in the few times I have.

I’m still going to listen to the show, but the hosts definitely have a big shoe to fill.
