Four men will enter, but how many will survive the challenge of Infendo Radio 102!? Listen in as Scott, Blake, Kyle, and David (hey that’s me!) fight to the death, er, talk about all things Nintendo. Also featured this week: an exclusive interview with Tommy Tallarico of Video Games Live!

sound is a little out of sync towards the end

iTunes is sucking it down as I type. Can’t wait for the trip to work tomorrow!

There seems to be an issue with the MP3 file. During the interview with Tommy Tallarico, we only hear the answers from Tommy, but we don’t hear the questions. It’s kinda funny *silence* Tommy: Red! *silence*. Overall, good job on episode 102!

The Guitar Hero drummer thing, I’ve seen it on PS2, too, so I think it carried over from the PS2 port. The problem is that the drummer’s “hit snare drum” (and all of his other) animations start when the actual hit happens. It looks like the sound of hitting the drum comes out when he has his arm in the air preparing to hit the drum.

What is with the echo in the News From the Front Lines and 2 Cents sections? Is it supposed to be a cool effect? It just sounds like a strange glitch which doesn’t really fit in.
I don’t want to be completely negative… I love the show and can’t wait to hear the show every week.

Yeah, concur with the segment audio glitches and also near the end things just got really awkward with random Kyle talking behind Scott, then random dead noise. And of course I missed Scott’s deep silky smooth non-skype voice. Other than that, good times as always.
@sebastienrb: the questions during the interview could be heard in the left channel. Maybe check your speakers?
I like the addition of VC games and soon-to-be WiiWare titles to New Game Get.
It might be interesting to see a poll sometime about who still uses the wrist straps and/or jacket. With my 4 wiimotes, I like to keep a combination accessible: 1 naked, 1 naked with strap, 1 protected w/ no strap, and 1 fully protected w/ strap and condom.
Personally, I find the wrist strap annoying and alternate between jacket and no jacket.

Concur with the glitches. I was wondering why the hell Kyle was talking about about Iron Man in the background there. Then Scott brings it up, and then…nothing.
But I did enjoy the podcast as always regardless. Kinda sad you didn’t get more into MK:Wii. It should be talked about more. You devoted a whole show to Brawl, and Kart IMO wipes the flow as far as fun factor and the improved online experience.
So pumped for WiiWare. I cruised the new Nintendo Channel last night and I can’t wait for Dr. Mario Online RX.
I gotta say though, if you are playing any game with the wii-mote on its side, put the Jacket on. It really makes the controller feel right. If you are holding it in combination with the nunchuk, it’s not really necessary. But wii-mote sideways, always use protection.
I currently have 1 residing in my Guitar Hero conroller, 1 in my Wii Wheel, and two w/ jackets on standby.

yeah, sorry about these audio glitches. Tahrs pretty much the reason it is showing up so late.

Bret Hart is the greatest technical wrestler of all time.

Great episode. I can’t believe no one mentioned Dr. Mario when you were talking about WiiWare. I’m so stoked for that game. And, btw, Pokemon Puzzle Challenge is one of the best puzzle games ever. It’s so freaking fun.
For the record, I say you should go back to letting Scott do the hosting of the podcast. I don’t know what caused the glitches, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it happened on the first episode where Scott wasn’t in charge or whatever.

It actually just sounds like Kyle’s audio is just way ahead of everyone else, because you can tell what he’s talking about, but it’s just way too early, like when he talks about ironman way before everyone else, and he talks about his broken TV a few minutes before everyone else is like “oh man, that sucks that your TV is broken”. The best part was when Blake was like “Hey Kyle, so how many WiiWare games are you gonna get” and Kyle’s like “it was really solid, man”. Kind of confusing, but also kind of funny.

Terrible glitches. But you already know that.
I can’t believe nobody mentioned LostWinds when talking about WiiWare. It has to be one of the best looking and most highly regarded games and yet you all seemed unaware of it. Have you been living under rocks?
May 9th, 2008 at 9:12 am
It must be because I combined Rick Roll and All Your Base…. it’s my fault
May 9th, 2008 at 10:10 am
@ gooble,
I was also initially interested in LostWinds. However as of late, most of the reviews for it say it’s the most boring game ever made. I’m paraphrasing a bit, but they basically say it lacks action or even a compelling story.

that picture is awesome to the max. i know it has nothing to do with the podcast, but seriously i had all those toys. i spotted jake the snake roberts, british bulldog, sean mechaels, mr. perfect, bret the hitman hart, the undertaker, and i can’t tell who jake has in the head lock or who was behind the undertaker. truly it was and always shall be wwf to me.

Was it just me or did I just hear Rick Astley right in the middle of the podcast?!?
I swear I wasn’t hallucinating! I heard about 10 seconds of “Never gonna give you up”… LOL!!!
May 9th, 2008 at 9:35 pm
Yea, That was 7 second Rick Rolling during a Two Cents in 60 Seconds
May 10th, 2008 at 11:12 pm
@ rushlion
What reviews are you talking about? I don’t believe anyone has played it yet.
Are you thinking of some other game? Lostwinds is a point-and-click type puzzle adventure game that reminds me of Zack and Wiki.
May 10th, 2008 at 11:14 pm
@ rushlion
Actually IGN has played it and they think it’s better than all the Japanese Wiiware games put together: http://wii.ign.com/articles/866/866531p1.html
May 11th, 2008 at 6:01 pm
I can’t find any sources…but I swear I read it somewhere. I’m with you though, if it reviews great I will definitely pick it up.
It also does not play like Zak and Wiki at all. You use the nunchuk to walk, you only use the remote to “guide the wind”.

It took me like all week to find time to listen to the podcast, but I finally did…
I heard the Tallarico interview fine, except I had to crank up the volume in my car almost all the way up…
I used to listen to an Xbox podcast that started using Skype and the synchronization got so bad I had to stop listening to it completely… I hope this doesn’t happen to Infendo!
May 12th, 2008 at 11:39 pm
During the interview, I hear the questions in my left head phone and the answers on the right. Wierd
