Honestly, I wouldn’t want another Galaxy game. The first two were great, I don’t want Nintendo to run the idea into the ground. I DO wish the new Mario was a little more creative than 3D World. At first I thought the over-emphasis on nostalgia to drive sales was going to be restricted to the NSMB series, and now they’re doing it to the main 3D Mario titles. I don’t want any more linear levels with flag poles, please! They’re honestly getting over used now, and it’s even getting annoying. I think the fact Nintendo is playing it so safe with Mario is the reason I’ve shifted from “More of a Mario fan” to “More of a Zelda fan”. Mario used to be my favorite franchise for the longest time.

I would like Galaxy 3. But not yet. It would be a nice surprise in a year or so. And as much fun as 3D World looks, it isn’t the stand out Galaxy or Sunshine or 64 game for the Wii U. At least not in my mind.
