Grand Slam Tennis brings Davis Cup like scoring to online tennis games

Grand Slam Tennis for Wii

I just got done reading IGN’s review of Grand Slam Tennis, which is out today. In addition to calling it “the best tennis game ever played,” reviewer mark Bozon spoke highly of the free online play, that features an interesting twist:

Part of Grand Slam’s main online mode is based on country vs. country play, so each time you win against someone else you actually earn points for your nation as well as yourself. You’ve got leaderboards for nations, a top 100 players list, and a My Stats page that shows wins, losses, total rank, and current EA Online level… and you can use your EA Nation login to avoid friend codes.

I just think that’s tops.
