eShop details emerge, Super Mario Land and Alleyway rated for ESRB

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) are rather notorious for leaking titles before they were ment to be revealed, and thanks to them we now have a good idea of what to expect for next week’s eShop launch. The ESRB website has rated Super Mario Land and Alleyway for the Nintendo 3DS, giving each a rating of E for Everyone. No price has been announced for either title.

In other eShop news, Eurogamer has reported that Pokédex 3D will be a free eshop download and enable Pokémon trainers to view Pokédex data of their favorite pocket monsters. 16 Pokémon will be available initially, with more becoming available via SpotPass and QR codes. Pokémon data will also be trade-able, giving gamers another reason to always carry their 3DS.

No official word from Nintendo yet on any of these downloadables, so these titles may or may not  be available to download for the June 6 launch.

Good to see some info finally starting to break for Nintendo’s delayed online shop. Do any of these tickle your fancy?

WOW! That is pretty cool. I hope they just keep the good stuff rollin 🙂

Alleyway hmm? Haven’t owned that one before so I will likely check it out probably. But I DO HOPE that Super Mario Land is available DAY 1 for the eShop, or I’m gonna be real pissed off.

Woah that Mario box brings a wave of nostalgia. The watchmen kind.0

    Well…meh.

The Pokedex is nice, as well as the free Excitebike, but I’m a little bummed to not see any GBC games. The only original GB game that I would buy would be Pokemon R/B, just for nostalgia’s sake.

I mean…Mario’s great and all…but it’s just so….I mean, his fireballs look like rabbit poop.

I want Super Mario Land 2 in color!

I might get Super Mario Land! 🙂

  7. […] Check below for Eugene’s summary of Pokedex 3D: This sounds like it could be a lot of fun, and the price is certainly right! I’m particularly happy regarding this morning’s confirmation that the game will support AR viewing of your Pokemon in real world settings. Could a genuine AR-based Pokemon game be far behind? Can E3 get here any sooner? […]

  8. Kaherka says:

Well… I might get super mario land, but I already own it and it still works fine.

  9. Zyon says:

The one thing i’m hoping they’ll add in to the eshop is pokemon red, blue and heck why not add in yellow to, their the first games I ever played but after my gameboy color broke I couldn’t play them again. I would defiantly get pokemon r/b/y if they ever get added into eshop it would be so great all the good childhood memories.
