With so many great games out these days, we’re all playing a lot more Nintendo than usual. Whether it’s handheld or hooked to a TV, you’re sure to be spending long nights collecting or killing everything in sight. This week for our poll, we want to know:
Which hurts more?

wii boxing=death.

Hand cramps from the stylus = very bad and I get them much more often that arm fatigue.

I’ve never had the Wii arm fatigue, but a session with Metroid Prime Hunters or Call of Duty 4 on the DS equals early arthritis.

Playing Wii Sports+WarioWare all day = pain. Never had this stylus crap thing you speak of. Other than on Phantom Hourglass, but that ain’t as bad as the Wii Sports+ WarioWare thing

Metroid Prime Hunters… haven’t finished it because of hand cramps.

Depends on the game, if you play DBZ (especially the new one) your hands are gonna hurt like heck. Aside from more involved games like that, other games where you can “cheat” or be more relaxed (like shooting in Zelda:TP) aren’t tiring at all.
Just because of that recent purchase I chose Wii over the DS, but I agree the cramps from DS suck.

My personal experience with the DS has been pretty cramp free. Of course, as soon as I feel a twinge of pain I close the clamshell and just bugger off until I’m fit and ready to go again.
With Wii, especially Metroid Prime 3, I got so immersed that I kept trying to find new positions to stand/sit/rest-my-arm while still able to play because I got so sucked into the experience that by the end my arms were hurting less from the actual playing and more from physically trying to wrench themselves from my sockets in order to attain physical autonomy needed for a proper rebellion against the rest of me.

ANYONE who’s played elite beat agents or Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! voted stylus cramps. Or sucked at them.

none. i left weights so im immune to those things.

I can’t say I have a problem with either one. Any controller problems I have had in the past were related to controllers like the Gamecube and Dreamcast. But the Wii controllers don’t cause me problems.

DS Stylus. Metroid Prime Hunters hurts like hell after a while.

I don’t have much trouble holding the stylus for any amount of time… but the games that require the D-pad with one hand and the stylus in the other tend to get painful.

No option to vote for your feet falling asleep while playing Phantom Hourglass on the toilet?
Just me?

DS stylus is far worse, but maybe only because I play my DS far more than my Wii… lately game designers have mastered how to use the touch screen much better, so I’ve found less games that are a pain!

I had my arm in a sling for 4 days following excessive Wii Sports consumption on Thanksgiving (probably aggravated by stirring gravy for about half an hour.) Couldn’t move it an inch without searing pain. Never had stylus cramp, but then, I bought a full-sized PDA stylus when the DS first launched.
