Celda figures extend your Phantom Hourglass experience

Zelda figures

While David and Blake dissect the best and worst that Nintendo systems had to offer this year, I thought I’d do what I do best and contibute absolutely nothing to the conversation. Instead, look at these little plastic figures modeled after characters from the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass!

At $3 a pop from Play-Asia, these little ditties are a steal for the import happy, and allow you to recreate your favorite scenes from this popular DS title from 2007. I just started playing this one, as I received it from my now DS-equipped parental units for Christmas, and can’t comment on any of those scenes yet.

Celda? He he! These do look pretty cool. I would buy Link. I wish there were some tiny Metroid figures like this.

    I’d kill for that Linebeck.

    Cel-Shaded Zelda = Celda.

Coincidentally, my friend just got back from Japan and he gave me one of those Linebeck toys.
His arm doesn’t fit in it’s socket. :p

You guys know you don’t get to choose which figure you get? It’s by random selection… which sucks.

That’s why you buy a box and you’re guaranteed to get everything. The dups go to friends.

    Yeah, I know . . .

After seeing this, I went to Play-Asia and ordered one for myself. While I was on the site, I saw that they had Ouendan 2 on sale for only $29.99. I couldn’t pass up an offer like that, so I ordered it along with the Zelda figure. I don’t really care which one I get, but I’d prefer Link, Linebeck, or Tetra.

I didn’t see where you could order a box.
