I had a mashup between REsiden Evil 4 and Brothers in Arms one night. I was a squadleader in the WWII and all of a sudden that huge guy with a big black beard from RE4 camewalking across the field where me and my men were exchanging fire with some germans.

I ordered all my guys to shoot at him but he just kept coming. It ended up in a bizarre hand to hand QTE fight.

Well there was this one time I was playing Metroid Prime 3 very late at night and was stuck in this one area andcould not figure out how to get out of the area in before some explosion happened. I (after a few hours) eventually got out of the area, saved, and went to bed. Durring that night I had this dream where I was Samus blasting away at stuff in the area I was stuck earlier.

I wrote a short story in high school about a dream I had, but I wrote it from a different perspective.

    The Mission

The sky was dark, everything was frozen in time, until a feint ding was heard. Everything slowly began to light up as a man awoke under a tree. The man realized that he had a mission to complete, and didn’t even realize what he had been doing before. He was clearly focus was on the task at hand, and nothing more. The man stood up from his position on a hill looking forward then quickly dashed out towards where he was looking.
He was hurrying forward towards a weird looking building, fenced in by a small stone wall. He ran with grace and speed, the crimson armor he was wearing glistened in the light, and the sword he quickly brandished as he reached the wall glowed an ominous green. He silently hurdled the wall, and caught sight of a conspicuous guard standing dazed in the corner of his eye. Without wasting any time, the man in red ran toward him and slammed him with the viridian blade. The blade broke through him without the slightest resistance, cutting the guard in half and as he fell to pieces the guard began to spark until he exploded.
The man didn’t wait for the guard to even explode as he just continued moving quickly into the building, slashing down the door down with his saber. Dashing through the halls of a base which walls glowed with a weird technology, Erie music began to play. He saw more enemies like before, and did the same to them as he did the previous one. Dashing by without any slight emotion, spinning his blade around, only taking one slash to bring them down.
As the warrior clad in red moved down the hall and towards a large door, with what appeared to have a crest on it, he began to feel faint. As the world quickly became dark and black like before. Slowly all moving slowed until he froze and began to drift away into the darkness until there was nothing there.
A boy then cried out as he sat uneasily in his seat, as he looked at his dead screen that was once so bright. “Mom! I need some new batteries.”

So basically my dream in a nutshell was I awoke in a land with a sound buzzing, confused, and moved against my will, but not really, like I was being guided and then as it went on the world got dark and I woke up.

But It felt as if I was the character from the Mega Man Zero games for the GBA.

I hope you like my story.

Every time I play Guitar Hero and then go to bed, I can see those notes scrolling in my dreams.

I’ve slept really well these last couple of weeks because I left my Guitar at Blake’s house and haven’t been able to play.

I once had a dream where I was in that Animorphs PC game, trying to kill the yeerks while escaping from the yeerk pool. And for some reason instead of morphing into animals like everyone else, I morphed into the power rangers. All of them at once. “We” ended up getting lost in the maze and were all infested. Ah, memories.

Funny you should bring this up…Just the other night I actually had a dream that I was fighting the good fight and killing all sorts of terrorist bad guys due to my marathon play of Call of Duty 4 for the 360. I was sending bad guys flying like they were a kid on an arcade fighting game and had no clue buttons to press for that all important combo kill.

It was actually pretty cool and I felt empowered!

If you count waking dreams, sometimes after playing long enough I see ‘in Tetris’.

It’s definitely unsettling when you can’t block the forever tumbling of the blocks, and you mind won’t stop arranging said imagined polyhedra even when you strain to relate to reality again.

For Christmas, my family bought me a Wii and some games, one of them being MySims (or Sim Building Blocks, as I like to call it). I didn’t spend much time with the game initially, but a week ago I found myself in the middle of a 3-hour MySims binge.

Close to midnight, I decided to call it a night and turn off the Wii. I went to bed, but awoke around 5 AM after a vivid dream of rotating boring wooden blocks, painting them various colors, and basically just getting stressed out by not being able to get them into the right position. I don’t even know what I was trying to build in my dream, it was just pissing me off. GET OUT OF MY HEAD, MYSIMS!

A Mario Galaxy dream would have been so much more intense and rewarding.

I had a dream the same night after twilight princess was first announced as a gamecube title, I’d watched the trailer well over 50 times. i dreampt that my brother had bought the game (not me… :( ), was playing it. link was in a cave with a remixed version of the cave music from a link to the past playing. he openned a chest and what was in it? the four sword!! lol was cool seeing the 4 differently coloured links in twilight princess graphics, very cool indeed…

for a while I thought it’d be cool if it came true, but alas, I had to wait till 2006… lol. Eventually I just realised, I am too addicted to zelda games… lol

One night after playing non-stop Counter Strike Source each day I had a dream where me and a friend (we played CS together a lot) were storming a house full of terrorists and, yes, I saw it in “1st person” and had a desert eagle complete with the same game sounds.

We went across several rooms without getting hit (apparently all it took was one shot to bring someone down). We reached one room full of people shooting out a window and we rushed them, my friend took one for the team and I avenged him by finishing off the last of them, thus beating the “round”… And then I woke up knowing it was time to give Counter Strike a break. :P

Probably won’t be eligible cuz I live in Guadalajara, Mexico. :/

Ok, well this dream doesn’t exactly make any sense, but alot of dreams are like that. In my dream, I was in Japan, outside of the nintendo studio where they are making Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I started shouting “Sakurai! Sakurai!”. Then some fellow nerds from Japan joined me and before I knew it we had a big group all shouting “SAKURAI! SAKURAI!” Then a Nintendo flag from in front of the building was lowered. For some reason, the lowering of this flag in my dream meant that the game had been completed. Shortly after, Sakurai walked out of the studio. Myself and all the fanboys that had been chanting with me cheered loudly and surrounded him. Then a UFO came out from the sky and crashed into a nearby railroad… Yeah its sort of strange ending. So yeah, theres my nerdy dream about Sakurai and SSBB. Hope I win.

My favorite video game related dream was literally just playing Mario Galaxy in the dream. It was really accurate too. I once had a dream where I was being attacked by miscellaneous Disney and Warner Brothers Characters and I was losing. I had a dream that I was scaling the mountain of the Bob-omb Battlefield. It was acutally pretty brutal. When I made it to the top, I had a 1-UP. I decided to test out the usefulness of a one up. On a whim, I rushed towards the edge of the cliff, jumped, and free fell towards the ground. When I hit the ground I felt like every bone in my body was crushed.

Luckily, all that happened was I lost a life. I was feeling back to normal 10 seconds after the crash. I spent the rest of the dream collecting coins and killing goombas.

I sometimes sleep talk. Most of the time, these midnight mumblings come out as incoherent blather…unless they’re about Nintendo. One evening, my girlfriend came over and we played the night away with vintage videogames. I went to bed considerably content and extremely exhausted. My girlfriend stayed the night and was shocked by what she heard. She had been told the stories about Nintendo dominating my dreams, but she never expected this. I didn’t remember the dream, but the words my girlfriend recalled depicted the whole dream sequence quite clearly.

“Link took Princess away…No, Mario!…Bowser back! Jump the flag, Mario…You did it, Link!…Take triangle to Toadstool!…Fire flower gives shooting powers…Shoot shoot!”

Needless to say, this dream teamed up Link and Mario and Princess Toadstool was being attacked by Bowser and Link had to take her away to protect her and the only way to defeat Bowser was with the Triforce and Fire Flower. Everything after that was murmurs, but, to this day, I get ridiculed with “Shoot shoot” and “Jump the flag” by my girlfriend.

Of course, it’s all just phallic.

I live in a tiny town in upstate New York called Cobleskill. I think the weirdest video game related dream I’ve had was after I spent about two hours before bed trying to beat the last venue in Guitar Hero III on hard. I had this weird dream that the members of Metallica (I had been working on One, by Metallica, right before I’d gone to bed) were all around me with plastic Guitar Hero guitars playing One to me really slowly and in a high octave, like a lullaby. It was really creepy, and when I woke up I didn’t realize it had been a dream so I freaked out and started punching all around me hoping to peg Kirk Hammett or Robert Trujillo in the arm or something.

    So yes, very creepy :D

When I was in college there was a period of about a year where I recorded my dreams in a journal every morning. I was reminded of one of them by your contest:

    March 19, 1997
I was walking on a sandy road, probably at the beach. I went into a little convenience store and was pleased to see a room inside filled with old arcade games. The only game I recognized was Ms. Pac-Man, but someone else was playing that, so I decided to play an airplane game.

The game had the worst controller design ever; I couldn’t figure it out! First, it had a small, squat and wide screen. There were three buttons arranged in a triangle where the controls would normally go. Under the control panel was a kind of overhang. Two little red missile-control type buttons were under there. Finally, there was a messed-up, skinny little thing that was basically a terrible version of the Star Wars controller way down next to the coin slots.

The graphics were really appealing to me, though: red vector graphics of an airplane, maybe in a dogfight.

I dropped in a quarter and was immediately frustrated. Because of the control design I couldn’t actually see the screen while I was trying to use the flight controller. I gave up in disgust and stood up straight, thinking maybe I could play with just the buttons.

As I was about to push one of the buttons, a lady behind me said, “Don’t push that button, honey; the wings will fall off.” Did I listen? No! I pushed the button. The plane’s wings fell off. GAME OVER.

Oh well. At least the Ms. Pac-Man machine was free now. I went to play it, and was disturbed to see that this game was strange too. The colors were off, the screen was about a time and a half as big as usual, and the maze reminded me of the strange maze on the bootleg Pac-Man machine in the bowling alley I frequented as a kid.

The gameplay was strange too. Whenever I got close to eating the fourth ghost for 1600 points, it would split into 4 smaller, ghosts which could travel through the maze walls, so I could never catch them.

After a while at this exercise in frustration, another peach-colored Pac-Man appeared on the screen. I knew that this Pac-Man was actually a real person named Fred, who was trapped in the video game. My impulse as a gamer was to maneuver my Pac-Man to eat Fred, but I suspected if I did this, he would die forever!

This thought was horrifying enough to jar me awake.

Thanks for running this contest and causing me to pull out my old dream journal!

I had dream where I was actually in a Mario Kart race. I was on Toad’s Turnpike (N64), you know the course with all of the cars. But on the back of all the cars there were pictures of Reggie Fils-Aime with a big smile and holding his thumb up. Underneath his picture read “Vote Regie 08!” Of course I was amazed and baffled and wound up hitting one of the other cars and blew up. When I landed again I was passed up by a herd of different colored Master Chiefs playing Rocket Race. One of them got off his car and walked up to me. He pulled of his helmet and it was Kirby. He sucked me up and then I heard the word Cake and woke up…

I have never had a stranger dream ever. I must have been on video game drugs or something. My Dad wakes me up in the morning so I can get to school on time, and he said I had a confused look on my face when i woke up that day.

While I was playing Super Mario Sunshine the summer after it came out, I would frequently have dreams that were basically just gameplay, usually of some part I was having trouble with and had been playing over and over. Prominent in those dreams, no matter which level I was playing, were the big Pinna Park sunflowers who talk to you.

I decided it was time to take a break when I started looking for my water cannon when encountering sunflowers in real life, outside the building I was working in. I figured there had to be a blue coin in at least one of them.

One night I was playing Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire on the 64 for a few hours. I became really tired and went to bed on the living room couch.

When I went to sleep I was playing the game in my dream and just like how some people sleep walk, I started imitating as if I still had the controller in my hands.

My parents still laugh about how they walked into the living room and saw me playing video games in my sleep.

I have narcolepsy, so I go into REM sleep quicker than most people and will usually stay in REM sleep all night. I tend to have a lot of dreams at night, and they’re usually pretty wacky. Video games seep into my dreams pretty often, especially if I am playing for stretches of time during the day.

I had a video game dream just last night. I imported Ouendan 2, finally got it in the mail last week, and have been having a blast with it since. Last night, I was striving to get an S rank on all the songs, which is no easy task. Anyway, I must have been playing a little too much, because it stuck with me even after I went to sleep.

I don’t remember what I was doing in my dream. I think it was just normal, everyday stuff. The weird part was that everything I was doing was done with the beat and the little bubbles like in Ouendan 2.

I remember another time when I was really busy and stressed out at work. I would come home in the evenings and play Zelda to unwind. At night, I would dream about work, but I was having to do everything like in a Zelda game. For example, if I needed a copy of report or something, I’d have to go through the Water Temple. Eventually, I’d get what I was looking for, and I’d raise it over my head in triumph like Link.

I’ve had a few video game dreams over the years, but none like this:

In 1997 I was in the midst of receiving a considerable amount of dental work. The dentist’s office was a tech-savvy enterprise, run by a guy named Dr. Au (pronounced “Ow,” go figure). The office was so high-tech it had television screens embedded in the ceiling directly above the chair! Put on a pair of headphones and you could contentedly watch “The Aristocats,” “The Rescuers,” or one of the other many Disney movies they had on tap. The crown jewel, however, in Dr. Au’s arsenal of distraction, was a set of VR-glasses - actually just a head-mounted display - that allowed you to play Nintendo or Super NES games while they went to town on your teeth.

I was in to get some cavities filled and figured I wouldn’t have time to get through Mega Man X, so I asked them to put the original Super Mario Bros. in, hoping to pull off a quick speed run. Everything was going fine, initially. I caught the first warp pipe on level 1-2 and was playing through 4-1 when things started getting a little foggy…

I realized that they had turned on the nitrous oxide. No problem, I’ve played through this game enough times that I could practically beat it through reflex.

But no…things start getting foggier…my reflexes dull…and I lose life after life to those damn spinies. Pretty soon, I completely lose grip of reality. I realize….I’m no longer in the dentist’s office…I’m in the Mushroom Kingdom! I must….I must be in one of the castles, because Bowser seems to be spewing flames at me over and over…and it hurts! Why are his flames causing a piercing pain in my mouth though? Why is he doing this? And how can I escape? Bowser laughs evilly. I can hear him psychically communicate to me, “You’ll never get out, Severino! You’re going to die here!” My heart fills with despair. I give up. Nothing can save me now.

Then suddenly I hear a voice that sounds like it’s coming from a million miles away. It’s faint, but I can just make out…”Dr. Au? Did we leave the nitrous on?”

30 seconds the entire dental staff is around me, chanting my name and trying to wake me. When I wake up, Dr. Au makes a nervous joke about there being no need for me to sue. I’m still too fuzzy to answer and still a bit shaken up from my time in the Mushroom Kingdom. It would be several months before I could play a Mario game again.

I had a dream recently that I was in Super Mario 3. I was at the end where you have to fight Bowser. It was HORRIFYING trying to dodge him as he tried to flatten me. I don’t know how Mario keeps it together for all that! Luckily I had dodged Bowser enough times to see him fall through the floor without having a heart attack first. My reward was the cool, trippy door opening and enjoying all the pretty colors. And then there was the princess….. heh heh

Sometimes I dream of falling Tetris blocks. I haven’t even played Tetris since a couple months after Tetris DS came out, but I’ll still have the odd Tetris dream. Just the different shaped, and colored blocks falling and making lines disappear. It’s strange that this is the only video game related dream I’ve ever had, since I play more imaginative games. Weirdest video game dream I can remember was thanks to Mario Galaxy. I had to scale a giant robot while being chased by bullet bills. Except this robot was shaped like someone on a horse, and I was riding a small mechanical horse that looked just like the giant horse. I think Unreal Tournament worked its way in a little at some point because all of a sudden I had a gun. I was shooting the bullet bills, and when I got to the top of the robot rider’s head, I had to capture a flag instead of liberate a star. I grabbed the flag and jumped off the robot. I couldn’t remember where my home base was so I flew on my horse over a river just for kicks, but then the river turned into a game of River Raid. I still had my gun, but I think I forgot about the flag. Once I’d gotten past all the enemies, I stopped on a grassy bank, got off my horse, and went to sleep.

When I was a kid, I played a lot of SNES games at my baby-sitter’s house. One of the games we liked to play a lot was Earthworm Jim. I remember having a very odd dream one night where I was at my baby-sitter’s house, which was on the beach in the dream. I was out looking for shells on a dock and for some reason there were all these worm larvae laying all over the place. It got worse the further down the dock I got, to the point where I couldn’t walk without stepping on them. I decided to walk back with what I had and went through the back door of the house. It was a sliding glass door and right next to it was a kitchen counter where I would eat breakfast. I always remember those stools being so high, so I climbed up on, put my loot on the counter and then heard a bang at the glass door to my left. I looked over and Earthworm Jim was standing at the door. For some reason, in the dream, I was absolutely terrified. I screamed and yelled at him and he gave me the saddest look a worm could give. I kicked myself off the stool and fell for what felt like forever, until I hit the floor, which was covered in the worm larvae. I looked back up at Earthworm Jim and he gave me such a sad look then walked away in slow motion as I screamed. I woke up yelling, sweating, and then instantly felt bad that I had yelled at my only hero besides Mario, at the time.

I’m not sure why I was so afraid of Earthworm Jim. It was odd.

I once dreamed that I was a toad in the Mushroom Kingdom, going about my everyday activities, when bowser flew in and stole the Princess, lighting many buildings and other toads on fire. After we were all done screaming and running around in circles, Mario ran in. We rejoiced! Alas, our happiness didn’t last for long. Mario starting viciously slaughtering all the toads with his hammer. I started backing up, but I backed into a wall. Mario was standing over his latest kill, breathing heavily. I was the only one left. I started to scream as he slowly looked over his shoulder at me. As he started stumbling toward me like a maniac, his head jerked to the right and I heard a *crack*. Masterchief slowly became uninvisible behind Mario’s limp, motionless body. I sighed in relief, but it was too early to celebrate. Masterchief raised his assault rifle aimed at my head, and I heard gunshots as I woke up, sweaty and scared. I have no idea why I dreamed it. Pretty Strange.

I don’t know if this counts as a “video game” dream or not, but I’ll post it anyway.

I actually often have dreams about certain websites - for example, I play on kongregate.com a lot and I have dreams about that site. GameFAQs shows up sometimes as well. But this dream happened after I found Infendo for the first time. I’ve always been a big Nintendo fan, and when I first heard about Infendo (I think it was through ELR) I ran over here to see what was going on. I loved the idea of a professional-grade site dedicated to Nintendo, and I spent days poring over the archives. Well, after days of immersing myself in the site, I went to sleep one night and found myself literally in the website, walking around on the front page. Pretty cool, right? Well, as I was exploring, the website started to scroll up, and suddenly the logo at the top was a huge wall rushing towards me (being chased is a common theme in my dreams). Well, I started to run as fast as I could, all the while the Infendo logo is getting closer and closer. Suddenly, everything disappeared, I was falling in darkness, and then I woke up. I took a break from the site for a few days and I haven’t had that dream again, but I haven’t forgotten it.

Resident Evil 4 was a great game, and one that totally absorbed me when I found it on the Wii… unfortuantely, playing right before bed every night for a week took it’s toll with the following odd dream:

It was the night of the big basketball game, and we were in my old high school locker room getting ready to play. The music started playing and we ran onto the floor in time to Black Betty - dribbling, doing layups, and dunking* during our warm-up time to get ready. Everything was perfect, just like a dream should be, when things suddenly started to go terribly wrong…

As the opposing started to take the floor, we were shocked by how sluggish they appeared. Their movements were slow and a little bit unnatural, and they looked… well… dead? Although we tried to keep preparing for the game, the grotesque appearance of our opponents couldn’t be ignored - especially when their final player took the floor. He was huge! He was massive! He was… grey? Yes, this was their secret weapon: El Gigante.

In short, my dream game quickly turned into a disaster. The game went on despite a maze of hedges and hallways that distorted the court. Quite a few players were injured, with a few being decapitated by the other teams coach. Survival horror takes on a whole new meaning when referees won’t call an obvious travel - maybe the parasites were controlling the whistles?

Determined to win, my team pressed on in vain. For a heavy and somewhat misshapen guy, El Gigante was actively throwing it down in full, 360-windmill from the foul line glory. (Trust me: Monster Jam has nothing on this guy.) He couldn’t be stopped, and physically punished anyone from our team who tried to get in his way.

The funny part was that, after the game, El Gigante hung out with our team and apologized for the chaos he caused on the court. We ended drinking tea in lazyboy recliners and chatting - after all, he was really a nice guy, but a serious competitor who was often misunderstood because of his vicious “gameface”. (But he claimed the rest of his team were really all jerks and zombies that deserved their bad rap.)

So probably not a winning dream, but an odd one regardless. I’ve never been able to play RE4 the same way afterwards, and have always felt a strange affinity to that “misunderstood big guy” - vicious parasite and all.

*Another reason I knew that it was all a dream. Dunking is a thing of the past for me, I’m afraid.

    it was pretty weird.

    Gmod is so fun!
    and i actually have it!!
maybe this means that i play it too much? nah.

This happened to me just last night and sorta proves that dreams are a reflection of what happens during your day. I had been reading some reviews of the “other” wii bowling games yesterday, specifically Brunswick Pro Bowling and PBA Pinbusters…both apparently sucky games by the way so I’ll stay away from them.

Now what I can remember from my dream lastnight…was a bowling game for Wii but it was neither of the above mentioned nor was it WiiSports bowling. It seemed so familiar in my dream, but now that I’m awake it’s not like any bowling game I’ve played…maybe it was a knock-off of that old Ten Pin Alley for PS1 that I used to love as a kid so long ago…only this one used motion controls…and…SPRITES! I specifically remember playing the game with the wiimote…and then all of a sudden I was playing it on a Sega Genesis and the controller had motion control and an IR pointer. I kept thinking to myself how in the heck does Sega Genesis have Motion Control and a Pointer?! I didn’t know but it was cool. I continued to play and that was my crazy dream.

My most vivid video game dream comes from my childhood and is a mix of video gaming and cartoons from the Super Mario Show with those cheesy live actors as Mario and Luigi. I got sucked into a pipe and met them in their clubhouse-apartment or where ever they lived and we got to eat pizza and listen to Cindy Lauper (who I believe made a guest appearence one episode and that’s why it blended into my dream, otherwise I just watched Goonies too much) when we were done eating Mario told me to go into cartoon mode and I ran alongside Link as he fought baddies and yelling “excuuuse me princess”. I never saw myself so I don’t know if I was a cartoon too or if I was human in a cartoon world like in Cool World, but it was definitely a trip. I think I even got to kiss the princess since I had a crush on her back then. Is it ok to have a crush on a cartoon princess? Also I had a dream where I was on the same team with Captain N the Game Master fighting Mother Brain. This dream is much more vague to me now, but I do remember wanting to try and eat the eggplant guy.

Lol, I remember when I first got Metroid Prime. In the early levels, one of the first enemies you encounter are the War Wasps. Tons of them! And they make that eerie noise so you frantically look around to find them, and they attack you in groups. So going through those first levels I was so paranoid about them popping up all over the place. And the boss part keeps shooting them at you like crazy.

Guess those little enemies left a huge impression on me, because after I’d gone to bed that first night of playing, I had a dream about them. Tons of them, all swooping down around me and making tons of noise. It was horrific! I actually woke up frightened. Playing Prime 2 and seeing them after such a long time made me laugh at myself because I remembered how silly that was :P

Man oh man… When I was little I had tons of Nintendo related dreams. The one that happened most often featured a chubbier 10 year old me walking around outside in green suspenders (with an nes controller tied around my waiste no less) and I could see these little tufts of green grass sticking out of the ground. I’d walk up to one and start a’ tuggin’. Soon enough it would rip out of the ground and it would be my Grandma with green hair or my 3rd grade teacher or Karl Malone or a big onion looking thing with a smiley face. So I would rip Alf out of the ground by his patch of green leafy hair and chuck him at a cactus. Pretty wierd but I guess all of that Mario 2 stuff was Mario’s dream anyway. I can also remember baiting people with a big hunk o’ meat and then whacking them with a boomerang in my dreams.

Well, last night I had one. My sister was in it with me and the video game consisted solely of cooking pork chops and appeasing her appetite. It was really surreal. I won teh game, and she was really excited because I had made the best pork chops ever! They were tender, salty, and really good. I have never played the cooking mama sort of games, but I guess this is a similar experience. I actually had pork chops with my wife last night, so this might have bled into the dream a little bit.

    Give me some nights!

I played Gateway to Apshai on the C=64 years ago (Epyx cartridge version). There were times when I would play levels of that game into the early morning on a school night, after my parents went to bed.
I remember dreaming of walking into dungeon rooms where everything was pitch black, and then suddenly there would be blazing torchlight as soon as I entered. I see gigantic yellow snakes and blobs of slime mold advancing on me.
Instead of engaging, I run out of the dungeon to daylight. Apparently any level of the dungeon has a door you can run out of to the daylight, like a haunted house or a movie theater, which empties into your backyard. Then you can go back into the house and go back to sleep.

I sometimes have nightmaes from games that I’ve played in the past. Sometimes it’s the creeping wallmaster snatchng me up in complete surprise, at others it’s the football reaverbot things that rush you fast and hard, but lately I’ve been having more pleasant experiences. Boring, but pleasant. I’m playing Picross DS but somehow the entire game is sound based. The gameplay is very thrilling in my dream, but it angers me that I can never remember the exact gameplay components, they’re very innovative or that’s how I feel in the dream. When I say music based I don’t mean Meteos, Lumines, Parappa, Frequency, Guitar Hero or anything of those sorts. Somehow the game communcates a sound while the numbers are still visually displayed. Then while Input the correct blocks for Picross there’s something music based I do with the stylus and with my mouth that just causes me joy. This game is my fantasy nightmare. I both loathe it and look forward to playing the game I’ll never really play or will be able to translate on to paper properly.
