An alleged Toys R US circular slated to run in the last week of September lists the Wii (with Wii Sports) as having a $199 price tag. Personally I didn’t think Nintendo would do this so soon, but after GameIndustry crunched some number and discovered more than 39% drop in sales year-over-year, I guess it was inevitable. No word on whether this is a special Toys R US thing, or if it’s across the board.
I wonder how much profit per console Nintendo is making now?
