Nintendo’s plush new San Francisco office

Here it is, the new Nintendo office in San Francisco.
Everyone around the Internet seems to think his is a very clean, simple office compared to what went down in Redmond.
It would make sense. New digs, new image, new office atmosphere. Has Nintendo softened its image to fit in with the new “everyone plays” approach?

You mean posh? It doesn’t really look very soft and fuzzy.

I think I see Steve Jobs in the background.

Compared to where I worked in Redmond/Bellevue for the big N, that place looks like the Ritz-Carlton.

the new headquarters are not in san francisco. my understanding is theyre over an hour away from the city.
its kind of a shame, as many of the important tech players are actually in sf– google, apple, adobe, sega etc.

“Bottom left: They do things differently at Nintendo. Like, apparently they just buy everybody one giant muffin, that they all have to share.”
Haha. That truly is the Nintendo Difference.
