Black Wii consoles headed to U.S. this May, sources say

U.S. gamers could have their hands on a black Wii console to match their black Wii controllers as early as May, according to several retail folks who know such things. As for an exact date, retail moles at Target, GameStop and Future Shop all hinted the console variant could be on their store shelves by May 9, with a Canadian release on May 23. The console would be sold as part of a Wii Sports Res...

What if Pokemon Red and Blue were…

…a 3D game? Thoughts Infendo?

Infendo Radio 183: And then there were two

With Zac and Will held captive by the evil masterminds behind “College Education” and “being a responsible grown-up,” Sean and Alexis are left to fend for themselves.  Are Sean and Alexis bad enough dudes to rescue their co-hosts? Probably not, but they prattle on for a good fourty or fifty minutes anyway. Check it out: Radio Feed iTunes Feed MP3 Be part of the show! Email...

Mario eats maturity mushroom

A mature Mario Bros.? I’d play it, or at least watch the anime movie spectacular.

Metroid: Other M running two months behind, now launching Aug 31

Nintendo today delayed Metroid: Other M on Wii from its original June release to Aug 31. I would say bummer, but I’ll still be playing Mario Galaxy 2 and whatnot. Carry on.

Metroid Prime the front runner for “most memorable” video game menu ever

Well, it is according to the savvy NeoGAF community. And you know what, I’d agree with them. Since its release in 2002, I haven’t eased into a game world better than with Metroid Prime’s title screen music and menu. Awesome sauce.

After effect: What do you think of Monster Hunter Wii?

Capcom this week released Monster Hunter Tri for Wii, and it’s already being heralded by many as one of the great single-player games, and the best online multiplayer experience the console has ever seen. It also looks gorgeous, provided you’re okay with slower-paced gameplay. So what’s the verdict, Infendo readers? Is this all it’s cracked up to be? Do share your impressio...

Did Wii kill the joypad?

By the end of the year, both Xbox 360 and PS3 will have added motion controllers to their lineups. In case you’ve forgotten, they’re the only consoles left using joypads as a primary input device, leaving many to wonder: Is this is the end of the thumb pad’you know, the one Nintendo invented? “Not exactly,” was the general answer I came up with, in a report published this w...

The Picross 3D Demo is pretty cool

I was recently checking out the Nintendo Channel today looking for some interesting DS game demos when I stumbled upon Picross 3D. I’ve never really tried Picross games growing up but I’ve always had an interest in them; since I’ve seen people play Mario’s Picross on the Game Boy. For those who are a little familiar with this mathimatical game I’m going to jump straig...
