Wii Sports Resort missing from Nintendo 2009 release list

Well, Nintendo, where the eff is Wii Sports Resort in this 2009 release list you just pushed across the wires? I see Punch-Out!, and a few EA Sports Wii MotionPlus games I’m going to check out, but no 2009 flagship title. Is this your sly marketing-y way of telling us it’s been delayed? I am not amused.

SEGA’s MadWorld doesn’t support 480p

It would seem antithetical for a visually striking Wii game to settle for standard resolution. But according to Matt Casamassina, MadWorld is doing precisely that. The IGN Nintendo editor confirmed in his blog SEGA’s stylish MadWorld does not support 480p on Wii. “It runs in widescreen 480i,” wrote Casamassina. “Not 480p. I confirmed it today, and it’s unfortunate....

Captain Rainbow is too weird for an audience, but there may still be hope

You’ve probably seen the videos already, so I’ll say what others have probably thought: Captain Rainbow is too weird for an audience.  This is supported by evidence that the game only sold 6,361 copies in its first week of release in Japan.  It’s scheduled for a summer EU release and there’s no word of it coming to the Americas. I’m a huge fan of quirky games like C...

This is a surprisingly good mix, I would have never thought to combine Queen and Super Mario Galaxy. This makes me wonder what other songs could mix well with other various Nintendo games and characters? Anyone got any ideas?
