Meet an Infendo blogger: Eugene

(As requested by a few readers in the comments, here is a short Infendo style bio of myself)

After being exposed to an NES console at a very early age, I just had to have a ‘Nintendo’ for myself. My experiences with that little grey and black console with the likes of Super Mario Bros. 3, Bionic Commando, and Star Tropics are some of my favorite childhood memories.

Having been a kid and not having very much disposable income, most of my early game playing came from either swapping cartridges in the lunch room, or from ridding my bicycle 5 miles to the nearest Blockbuster to debate over which game was worth the $6 it cost for a 3-day rental. My first non-Nintendo console was an Xbox 360, and I have since purchased a Playstation 3 and a Sega Dreamcast.

When not gaming, I like to spend my time playing and coaching soccer at my local New Mexico high school, curling up with a good book, and watching far too many angry sports columnists on ESPN.

When I grow up I hope to get paid for what I love to do now on Infendo, and am working towards a degree in journalism.

If you’d like to find out more about Eugene, send him a friend request on Facebook. If you’re feeling really crazy, you can also follow his personal blog that he promises (no really) to update again someday.

Eugene lives in New Mexico and has been a life long gamer since getting his hands on an NES. Always partial to Nintendo, Eugene has made it a point to keep informed on all things Mario.
