UNO on Xbox Live Arcade is something of an enigma. This simple card game, known for its share of skips, multi-color wild cards and reversed directions, has become something of a hit on a system dominated by shooters, shooters and, well, shooters (and other stuff too, re-LAX).
Now, that fame and fortune is coming, unsurprisingly, to WiiWare and the DSi. PS3 and mobile phone versions are also planned, although no release date was given.

I really like Uno on 360 – I probably wouldn’t have gotten it if I hadn’t got it for free, honestly. But it a very relaxed pace sort of game and I like the idea of it on WiiWare. Hopefully it will be WiiSpeak enabled for some friendly chats and trashtalking… just like sitting around the kitchen table.
I would much rather have Scrabble on Wiiware and DS. Why on earth isn’t there a Scrabble game (good scrabble game) for these systems yet?
Scrabble has a notorious history, at least online. That could be a big part of why it’s been slow to see pick up on those systems. See also: Scrabulous and Facebook drama.
Just like Rossie O’Donell, I’m just not sure what people see in this game.
My kids love Uno. So when this comes out, I’m sure this will be a first day purchase for us (as long as the price isn’t too high).

I also own this on the Xbox 360. Assuming the price into too high and they offer a different experience I may consider getting this.
