Worst Nintendo release week in months
Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 at 10:15pm by David
Well, it was bound to happen. Only three weeks after the best release week ever, we’re stuck with these beauties for the week ending December 8th:
DS
American Girl: Julie Finds a Way
Alvin and the Chipmunks
Draglade
Left Brain Right Brain
Pocket Pets
The Golden Compass
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008
Strawberry Shortcake: The Four Seasons Cake
Wii
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
Alvin and the Chipmunks
The Golden Compass
Godzilla Unleashed
Jenga World Tour
Myth Makers: Super Kart GP
Out of the whole list, I have to say that Draglade sounds the most interesting (plus it’s from Atlus). Anything on this list worth your time?

DBZ: BT3 is actually quite good. The new motion control system is WAY better than the pointer-based stuff of the last game. Anyone else pick this one up? I haven’t tried the online yet…

DBZ:BT3 is a solid Wii game, but suited mostly for fans of DBZ.
The motion controls on DBZ:BT2 were good/inventive.
This one sports online + 150 playable characters (deceptive-example: Goku, SS Goku, SS2 Goku, SS3 Goku, SS4 Goku are 5 playable characters, though simply transformations of Goku)

Also, I’m a Yu-Gi-Oh fan, and I am compelled to buy the 2008 WC edition, if only because I want the online capabilities.

Anybody know anything about Draglade? I agree, it looks interesting…

Jenga World Tour. ROFLMAO, LOL.
Real Jenga. Less than ten bucks.
Fake Jenga. $50

I didn’t think American Girl: Julie Finds a Way was due out ’till January

Yeah, definitely a low. But I also enjoyed DBZ:BT2 and if anything out of the list would want to try 3.

2 was good. I think I’ll buy DBZBT3

I’d rent DBZ:BT3 before anything. I have a feeling this won’t be the end of the series, and it seems like the same exact thing. I’d rather wait for four.

Draglade looks very interesting. If only it didn’t have that stupid name and the anime-cliche characters but nothing’s perfect. I wonder if Draglade could be a major sleeper hit. Lord knows we need one in the gaming world.

Excuse me, but only for Dragon Ball 3 this is one of the best release weeks ever, this game is not only a Dragon Ball´s fan dream, but is also one of the greatest fighters ever, anyone will be surprised if they try.

Dragon Ball Z and Draglade are promising titles.
The Dragon ball comments here sounds pretty promising, i thought it would be like the previous game which i think was pretty fun but with online mode. I just hope they have taken away the level/upgrade system in the previous one since it ruined multiplayer gaming which is usualy the most important thing in a fighting game

I’ll consider Draglade, since it is from Atlus, but I don’t expect that one to be one of Atlus best (plus I still have to finish Etrian Odyssey and continue with Luminous Arc!). I’ll keep an eye on the reviews, though…

“Strawberry Shortcake: The Four Seasons Cake” is actually a quality game. Don’t laugh, all my friends were laughing and now they’re playing the game.

Please, somebody tell me, has DBZ BT3 the OST (Original Sound Track) of the anime? Please, I wanna to know.

Godzilla Unleashed and DBZ are two titles I’ve been waiting for. Overall not a bad week.

Godzilla is my guilty pleasure…

Got DBZ:BT3 early and it’s AWESOME. Anyone who liked 2 MUST get this one, everything’s way better, the motions are nice and overall looks a lot nicer. Just one warning, prepare to re-learn almost everything, newbies will have an easier time getting into this. I haven’t gotten in a decent online match but that’s my Wii’s fault.
BTW, the gamee comes with a DVD that shows the best fights as voted by fans, I hate the English voices though so I haven’t watched it (japanese in the game FTW!).
Aside from that game, I agree it all sounds pretty meh.
