Sweet. Thanks for the post infendo! I saw an ad in a magazine for this controller a month or so ago and have been waiting for its release.

Is wireless worth an extra $5? Probably. But even though this new controller looks pretty sweet, I’m probably not upgrading my existing Classic Controller.

I don’t quite understand what that means! A small dongle fitted to the bottom of the Wii Remote? Does it mean that it is still connected to the remote like the classic controller?

No, it’s a wireless receiver inputing the signal from the classic controller.

That is one fugly controller. I am happy with my Classic Controller with a ‘Retro’ decal on it. 🙂

They really should have placed the Z buttons behind L and R. Otherwise there’s no difference between it and Nintendo’s Classic Controller besides having to buy extra batteries for it.

    Hmm…interesting.
Another Nyko product, and it’s wireless.
I’m wondering if I can see another lawsuit in the future…

  10. Lance says:

Bleh. I’ll just stick to my classic controllers. That doesn’t seem like it’s worth the money. however the charging station is great.
