Though Activision has stated many times that the Wii version of GH4 would support downloadable content we were still unsure of how they were going to go about gobbling up our money. Obviously the above box art revealed today at GC Leipzig confirms that Activision will be accepting Wii point payment via Nintendo’s ‘Pay & Play’ program.

Guitar Hero: World Tour is just a few months away! Who’s excited?

Well, we all knew this was going to happen. Of course they are gonna charge money; we all know by now a company will never pass up an opportunity to make more money.

Anyways, the game looks like a buy for me…once I get some money. This dreaded housing market we have here in the states is seriously taking a financial toll on me.

^ Well of course DLC is gonna cost! We just didn’t know ‘how’ they were going to accept payment. They could of just used they’re own credit card system.

Well, here’s hoping they opt for the “regular” wifi for free gameplay and everything else we wouldve had with normal wifi and charge only for DLC. Maybe we can get free Wiispeak too? please?

From what I remember them saying a while back, the downloadable songs will go straight on to an SD card. In the game, you’ll create a “setlist” of tracks from the SD card and proceed to rock out.

I just want to know how much I am going to have to shell out for these downloadable songs.
(And yes, it was confirmed that the songs can be downloaded to/stored on a SD card and you may play them directly from the SD card.)
